We have updated the mobile application to support Cloud (SaaS) and Privacy terms changes. In order to access the app, you will need to accept our legal terms by logging in via web browser. Users will only need to do this once and after completion, the system will remember the acceptance on future log ins. If you have done this already, no action required, and you will be able to continue to use the app.
1.7.8 06/13/2023
We've updated the mobile application build pipeline, dependencies, fixed various defects and optimisations to make mobile app secure, maintainable and to provide enhanced user experience.
1.7.4 04/12/2022
New Icon: The app icon has been replaced with Eggy! It has the same name but now is a purple icon instead of a red one.
Simpler Login: Let’s face it, we went a little over the top on the authentication in previous versions of our mobile app. With this update, you’ll no longer need to authenticate each time you open the app. Simply sign in with your passport email address and password once, and you’ll stay logged in. We’ve also removed the quick Pin and biometric authentication methods.
The Usual: We’ve also pushed out various bug fixes and optimisations to make your app experience a better one.

A Huge Upgrade to our Monitoring App. We’ve been busy delivering some massive upgrades to our mobile monitoring app to bring a slew of new features to help you monitor your site. All of these features came from customer feedback (thanks!). If you want to see anything in our mobile app or think we could be doing something better, just let me know at drew.post@nccgroup.trust.
Here’s what’s new:
Streaming Manual Tests:
Running a manual test is no longer a one-way street. Triggering a manual test will now let you know if that test was run successfully or if another test is already running. We also stream the results back to you in real-time on the Monitors Overview page, just like on the desktop. Trigger a manual test on a user journey and watch the steps come back as the test run completes. We’ve also made it obvious when you’re looking at stale data from steps that haven’t run for one reason or another.
Performance and Errors Chart and Recent Test Results:
Site problems don’t always happen out of the blue and, now, with our Context Report, you can see the last four hours of performance and periods of error for a given Monitor. This is an incredibly easy way to get context for an error you’ve just been notified about or even just to check that things are still going OK after that big release or marketing campaign. We’ve also coupled this with a table of test results for the previous four hours. Tapping on a test result gives you full details for each test.
More Error Details:
Reacting to errors is a key feature of the app and you can never go wrong by having more information. We’ve added more details about errors, such as the actual text missing where an expected phrase hasn’t been found, extra info for user journeys (such as the flight details used in the test for a travel site) and, for errors caused by failing objects, we include full details and URLs of those objects. We’re also now showing you the number of open errors in each of your accounts on the account selection screen.
Diagnostics:
If you have diagnostics on your monitors, you’ll find they’re now enabled for problem objects. If you have a test that’s failed because of an object (or objects), you can now click the spanner to see the full diagnostics (including headers).
TouchID Support:
Gone are the days of having to remember passwords and PINs. You can now use your fingerprint to access our mobile account. You literally have your (online) world at your fingertips! Supported on all iPhones with TouchID (5S or more recent)

Christmas has come early!
We’ve put on our cheesiest festive jumpers and are wrapping up two big releases to our mobile app to help get you through your peak season! (I tried to get the app to play Christmas carols when you loaded it but this idea was, sadly, rejected during planning).
This first release brings a frequently requested feature, the Context Report. For any Monitor, quickly see the last 4 hours of performance as well as periods your monitor was in error directly on a chart.
We’ve also added a table of test results underneath so you can scan through to see details of each individual test run that’s occurred over the last four hours.
Have multiple accounts? We’ve made it easy on the account selector screen to see how many open errors each individual account has at that moment. Tap on this new information and be taken directly to the open error page for that monitor.
That’s it for this release. We have a lot more coming in our final release in a few weeks. As always, thank you for using the mobile app and if you have any feedback, please send it to drew.post@nccgroup.trust
