- Unsend a message you regret.
WHAT STAYS PRIVATE
- Fuzzy Distance: you choose how precisely other Bros see how far away you are, from exact down to area-only.
- Discreet app icons, if you'd rather BRO not look like BRO on your home screen.
WHAT KEEPS IT REAL
- Every profile shows a real face, and every photo is reviewed before it goes live.

This app is AWESOME! There are many apps like this, but, you won’t be sorry for choosing this one!! I actually have had the pleasure of speaking directly with the developer, and he is one of the most kind people you will probably ever meet! This app is great because it is both location based, but you can also search outside of your current location.. Being from Iowa, there is little to choose from as far as ways to meet people.. especially if you prefer to meet gay people.. We are limited to the bar scene, and that’s about it.. I’m not a big bar goer, and in the winter, there isn’t a lot you can do besides malls, restaurants, and bars here because it’s usually so cold.. Thankfully NOW with the “Bro” app, I can look a little further outside of my Iowa border, and get to know people that are close, but not right here.. I don’t have to be in a bar with people spilling drinks on me and having music so loud I can’t hear or talk.. You never know when something could develop, and I love that now, I have opportunities I wouldn’t otherwise have without this app! It’s truly awesome!! I hope you give it a try, and if you have an issue, I know if you reach out to Scott he will respond, and will do what he can to address/ fix your issue!! Best of luck in the search for what you are looking for! and Cheers to the BRO app!!! Happy BRO-ing!! -Tom
Bromance it up!!

I was luckily able to use the app when it first launch back in early 2016. It was a good concept, ya know not like other gay apps where people just hookup *side-eye* you see, as someone who's in the military always moving, it was hard to focus in on someone that wanted to do similar things like cabrewing, checking out distilleries, vineyards, hiking and traveling ya kno. So I got this app to try out and well, I definitely met the guy of my dream shortly after. Then to say at least, we started dating after a few dates and that was in March of 2016. Now, well, we are engaged and couldn't be happier. I wish I could give this more stars. Kudos to the concept and I hope more start to use it!
Not Worth Paying

I like the ideas behind the app for who it is meant to serve but the app itself is really subpar, especially when compared to other apps that use the basic grid format and messaging services. As a paying member I think I need more userbility. Sorting profiles takes you back almost 10 years ago when these sorts of apps first appeared. Option is to either sort by distance or recently online. If you sort by distance you are forced to scroll down multiple times in order to see even one person online. Bro! What’s up with that? It would be less of an issue if more bros were using the app but unfortunately they aren’t. Sorting by Recently Online then could place someone 14 miles away right next to someone 1 mile away. Just for context this weekend is Pride in San Diego thousands and thousands of people are coming to the city to participate and not one bro is less than 4 miles away from the center of Pride, Hillcrest? It’s just not very user friendly and that may be a reason so many profiles are not active. Some like me are bouncing to apps with better functionality. Messaging is also meh. Sending pics can shut the app down or freeze it. I’m also not a fan of using Facebook whatsoever in order to link up my bro account when I first signed on. That might have changed.
Full of Fakes
New Review 8886
This is my first review of an app ever. I have used this app off and on again for 6+ years. I keep going back because I think “maybe it changed or got better”, it never has. This app has more catfish than a pond. 9/10 people on here are fake. The other 1 might be real, but will waste your time in other and arguably worse ways. A simple solution would be implementing user verification or something; like a “Live Photo” thing or “do this pose.” I have yet to see something like that. Ultimately majority of the people and bots on here are out to wast your time or worse. Will I keep using this place? Probably, until I find someone on here or more likely somewhere else. Would I recommend this app to anyone? Absolutely not in its current or past states. On a more personal note, this app has singlehandedly led to the worst people and “people” in my life. Keep hoping that will change.
Cleaner screens and better text sizes.
- Lists no longer show a dark shadow just above the tab bar.
- Chats stay on the newest message when you change your text size.
- Larger text sizes fit better on Discover, Filters, Travel Mode, Premium, Who Likes You and More.
- VoiceOver reads Filters more clearly: Back, Age Range, Height and Show Bros.
- Fixed a rare case where the screen jumped when the keyboard opened.
Thanks for the reports, keep them coming.
