Imagine you go online and browse different shopping websites using your native browser. When you see something you would like to buy later, with one click (share button), you can easily add it to your wishlist. The app automatically stores information like title, photos, description, price, currency, and a direct link to the product page. You can add anything from any website. Discover gift ideas and the newest trends. Receive notifications with promo codes (valid !) from brands you love.
How do I add gifts to my list?
There are three ways to do this:
FROM BROWSER
Activate the GiftBuster button into your bookmarks bar; that way, whenever you come across something you want, you can add that item without ever leaving your browser.
SAVE/COPY ANY ITEM ON GIFTBUSTER
MANUALLY
How do I activate the GiftBuster browser extension (widget)?
Open any page in Safari
Tap the Share icon
Swipe the grey icons in the bottom row and tap "More."
Turn On "Add Gift via GiftBuster" and tap "Done."
Now when you see an item you like, you can add it to your GiftBuster list without ever leaving the Safari browser by tapping the "Share" icon and then clicking "Add Gift via GiftBuster"!
How do I reserve gifts that I want to buy for my friends?
Go to your friend's list. Choose the gift you wish to buy. Tap "Reserve". Set reservation date (i.e. your friend's birthday or Christmas). Click "Continue".
Can I purchase gifts through the GiftBuster App?
No, you can't. You can browse and reserve gifts through the GiftBuster App. And then you go and buy them in person or online.
Can my friend see that I reserved a gift from his/her list?
That's the best part. The list makers can't see who and what was reserved on his/her list, but others can. So no more double gifting!
Can I cancel a gift that I had reserved?
Yes, you can. Go to the RESERVATIONS and click "Cancel." Click "Confirm."
Can I mark gifts that are on TOP of my list?
Yes, you can. When you are adding a new item to your list - check the "Prioritise" option. You can also add it later (edit).
How can I delete gifts from my list?
Long tap on the item image you want to delete. Click the "Delete" icon.
When I'm adding a new item manually, do I have to all the information fields?
The only information required is "Title" and one photo.
If I like an item from someone else's list, how can I add it to my list?
Long tap on the item image you want to save. Click the "Save" icon.
Who can see my GiftBuster profile?
All profiles are public by default unless you change your settings to private. To change it, go to "YOUR PROFILE" and tap the right top corner for settings.
What are the benefits of following others?
Friends on your list can instantly view your gift list, reserve gifts, receive birthday reminders. Only when you follow each other, you can reserve gifts from your lists.
How can I invite friends to use GiftBuster?
You can invite them by sending a text message or email. Go to "YOUR PROFILE" and tap the right top corner for settings. Tap "Find Friends," and then the "+" icon.
Are there birthday reminders?
When your GiftBuster friend has a birthday coming up, you will receive a notification one week in advance.
I love this app! It is so helpful and convenient in so many ways. There are a few things that would make it even better, though… First, there is no way to move items around in your wishlist to make things closer to the top or bottom. You can mark items as “priority”, but you can’t move them into any sort of order or category. Second, I’d love to be able to share links to individual wishlists rather than my whole profile. I have made lists of ideas for my family members, and at the holidays I would love to share those lists with others to give them ideas without making the lists public on my profile and risk my family seeing my gift ideas for them. All in all, highly recommend this app for gathering ideas and sharing with family, just not the best for phone “unsavy” people and sharing/organizing individual wishlists. Hope that helps!

Tried to find replacement for the awesome Giftry app that suddenly disappeared. My family just wants to add things to lists from anywhere on the internet we may find them, and share our lists. We do NOT like that when you open the GiftBuster app, you have to wade through a few pages of shopping and “feeds” that try to entice you to shop, obviously collecting algorithms from what you save on the list. We don’t want to shop from this app! We just want to see our lists and be able to add to them immediately. That you can add directly from safari browser using the share button is a plus. That’s how we will use it mostly. Can’t stand opening the app, though. Very cluttered and flashy. Just want to see my list! As well as be able to select which list gets displayed on top. Shouldn’t have to scroll to see main list. Also, to add an item manually, you are required to supply a photo, enter in a price, enter a title, and paste the link to the item. You should not have to supply a photo or enter anything else just to save something to your wishlist. Hope this changes ASAP, as well as getting rid of the shopping ads and feeds to get to your lists.DEVS, PLEASE FIX: YOU CANNOT ACCESS YOUR PROFILE MENU OR CHANGE YOUR PROFILE INFO FROM iPAD, OR SEARCH FOR OTHERS’ PROFILES! On the phone version you can, but not iPad pro running latest iOS. You can only take an avatar photo or toggle between private account.

Hi Nickname 13,Thank you for your feedback. The majority of our users use Giftbuster more as a personal shopping wishlist than just a gift registry. And that's the direction we decided to go with the newest version. Unfortunately, we can't make everyone happy.The app is free to use, and we kept all the features like reservations, sharing profiles via a link. This is a great app idea! This beats wedding registries at stores because it is less limited. You can allow people to see what gifts you like. It gives prices too of the gifts as well. You can even chip in on gifts with other friends.This is also a great app for finding ideas for gifts to give. They have gift ideas in categories. You can choose from men, women, kids, pets, etc. They show the latest gift trends and ideas.This app is easy because if gives direct links of where you can purchase the gifts.There is a wish list section, which is nice. You can even upload pictures.The app is great, but it isn’t perfect. It has its flaws. It would be nice if it had more options on where to purchase the gifts. Sometimes you can find different gifts cheaper at different stores. A price comparison would be a nice addition. A video tutorial would also be good to have on this app. It can take a while to figure out everything. This would be especially helpful for those who don’t have experience with shipping apps.All in all, I think this is a nice app to have on hand. It is great for gift ideas for people who are hard to shop for. I will be using it for ideas for Christmas this year.

Finding the perfect gift for friends, family and co workers were always a struggle for me. I was a bit skeptical starting when downloading this application, but after realizing the possibilities by choosing a category of what type of person you are giving the gift to, making a wish list for certain gifts you want, and sending gifts through the app makes gift box a much needed app for finding the perfect gift. I saved all my gifts i wish i could have and started to save up for them. I’ve been showing this to friends and family and they were in shock of what you can find on this app. I am absolutely going to keep this app for a while and recommended anyone who is thinking of downloading this app read the reviews and you will want to download.
