The jflicks for cord cutters app allows one to watch and schedule recordings from your local TV channels from the comfort of your device. You can enjoy your shows on a big screen TV using AirPlay. Along side with the other great content you watch from the Internet, enjoy your free local TV programming.
The actual recordings are created using a computer on your local network in your home. The jflicks for cord cutters server software is available free of charge at http://www.jflicks.org/software and is a snap to install and run.
A third piece needed is a TV tuner with an attached antenna. The supported TV tuners are the HDHomerun EXTEND or HDHomerun CONNECT from Silicondust http://www.silicondust.com. You simply connect one or more of these to your local home network and to an antenna and you are all set to go.
