I bought this app through the App Store for about $50 a year ago. The program worked well and was a useful resource until an update appeared in my iPad about a month ago offering the beginnings of the female model. After updating I was surprised that the app now only has VERY limited functionality. The program is holding me hostage until I “Upgrade” for another $50! No where did this program say it is an annual subscription when I initially bought it. Why do I have to pay again?? I emailed the app maker and of course there was no response to my request for help. There is no way to restore my previous, full-function app. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN. Boycott this app until your purchase is actually honored! It is unfortunate that I will remove it from my iPad and tell every medical professional I know in the Denver Colorado area to STAY AWAY....UPDATE: Nicola at 3D4 contacted me with new information and assistance. It turns out I created the problem by (last year) cancelling my email service with gmail. This orphaned my account because I failed to update to my new email address with 3D4Medical. Nicola swapped my email accounts and my app works properly now. I apologize for concluding the app had turned into a subscription service (as others have...). Thankfully I received excellent support and rescind the scathing comments I made in haste above. I enjoy and value the app.
amazing app; could use an update/license option for artists
moonkara
i'm not a medical student nor do i intend to be, but i AM an artist. this app is incredibly useful but it is expensive; for good reason, but i think there should be a license for artists specifically (to have access to the models and breakdowns of the models specifically; the videos primarily and things meant to go in huge detail are pretty unneccessary for the purposes i use the app for). plus maybe some 'model' modes for artists? idk, i'll definitely keep using the app, but i think that having professional artists come in and help design a license option for other artists would be good. this app is by FAR the bets app i've found for in depth explanations of the human anatomy(side note: additional animations for muscles would also be amazing!! i love this app and i am aware its meant for the medical industry, but it can definitely stay like that and have features for artists as well)all the devs are doing amazing and i definitely would reccommend this app if i knew any medical students personally LOL

Great but isn’t Playing Nice with iPad OS26
Duke Compton
As the title says, this app is great as far as it’s content goes. It’s incredible if you’re taking an A&P course. However, there are some huge issues that seem to be because it isn’t optimized for os26. For example, the home and back buttons are stuck behind the new floating “x,-,expand” buttons that they introduced with os26. This makes navigating the app in anything other than full screen annoying at best and occasionally downright impossible. I often will just close the app because it’s faster than the alternatives. Second, resizing the app in the new os26 ecosystem simply doesn’t work very well. It refuses to size itself in many ways and often the app will get itself stuck in a layout that no longer fills in the app screen. Frankly, a full rethink of the layout in this new os26 world may be in order, especially considering the yearly price of this app. This thing should be a seamless experience, but it is far from it as of January 2026. The thing is, the app worked much better before I was on os26, which is why I believe it is just a massive optimization issue. There’s also occasional crashes but it’s far from the biggest issue considering how finicky it has become to use the app post os26. I hope this is seen as constructive criticism because the content of this app is truly phenomenal, but the experience of using it has left me frustrated.

Amazing app but it loses sight of its consumer base
Adan Monte
Downloaded this app during the first week of PT school and was amazed by its content. However, when I first purchased full access I paid $35, and now a year later it has gone up to $75. I am not sure if I got some kind of special price for at the time but the price is egregious either way. Overhead is minimal for an app like this to run and to justify the price based on expert videos posted is still ridiculous. The experts deserve to get paid fairly, but still charging a recurring fee of a minimal $75 is wild to me. Isn’t this app made for students struggling with high cost of education already? If this is instead made for professionals who already have the means to pay such a high price, then cut out the experts videos and education since board certified professionals no longer need it. To anyone else reading this, there are absolutely other apps out there that still do what this one does. Please don’t feel forced into a subscription for this one thinking this is the pinnacle that nothing else can match. You do not need this and if you are willing to pay this much money for an app like this, I guarantee you are driven enough to find help from somewhere else that has more integrity.
