It’s handy to have when it works. But it rarely is working smoothly. The worst is that when you switch back to the app, it puts up a full screen help on how to connect the tv. You have to manually dismiss it to get back to the controls. Very frustrating.

It has easy walk through steps on how to set it up. If you have a toshiba with chrome cast, then you should already be familiar with the google home app. Connected quickly and started working instantly. Would definitely recommend to any toshiba users, especially those like me who lost the remote and can’t control their volume. Lol

Couldn’t find my remote and wanted to buy a universal but downloaded this to try first, and it was very easy to connect to my chromecast tv. Only needed it to control volume and switch between inputs and that’s what it does. I’m able to get up and down off the couch to turn the tv off and on.

I have try different apps and this works the best because it finds the device fast and the only one let me turn off the tv compared to other apps which just turn up or turn down, pause and play, not turn off the this one does
