You can conduct almost all your business on this app. In that way it’s very functional. Two major criticisms: 1. When you are using pay now or related methods like scan and pay it immediately takes you to the Home Screen and displays your entire net worth. Appalling! 2. The limits on spend are numerous and notoriously hard to find when you need to make a large payment. Please put them all in one place. Defiantly a problem if the payment needs to be made quickly.
App not tested properly for key services

Just to be clear, when the app is working, it does what it says on the tin. But when it fails... I tried telling this to DBS Helpdesk and they have the gall to tell me not to expect anything back. Hence this one star review. 1. I set up fingerprint recognition almost at once but the app request for my passcode for almost a year until recently. I suspect the app was updated to fix the bug only recently. As a key security feature, it makes one wonder where DBS priorities lie. 2. Digital token setup. The physical token was decommissioned almost two years ago and I have set up my phone as a digital token provider. For some reason, all the systems in DBS seems to forget about this and I have go get a physical token again! DBS, please check out how Citibank does it.3. Ok, this is not about the app but, hey, support is part of the whole app experience. The DBS Helpdesk seems to be reading off scripts. For all the three times I called them, they requested me to delete the app and reinstalled it. The first tells me my iOS version is outdated (it is not) and insist a reinstall will solve the problem. The second tells me that she has deleted my digital token and I have to install the app again. When that didn’t work, the 3rd Helpdesk call tells me I never had any digital token set up in the first place!Come on DBS, please help your staff and equip them with better troubleshooting skills!!!!!From all this, I suspect the testing for this app is not high on the list of priorities for both the DBS decision makers and the developers.
One of the better banking apps I have used

I long for the days when we could actually depend on living people for help. This said, the age of applications helps us avoid miscommunication. There is also a lot to be said for convenience. As someone in his 50s, using tech isn’t my first choice, but out of all the banking apps I have used over the past few years, this one seems to be the most secure and dynamic. I can get a lot done with it, and I feel confident that my data (and$$$) is safe.

I like the spending overview it does. Would be cool if it had a budget planner in there as well. Like that I could quickly set a budget for different occasions like eating out and see how far I am along during the month. I did not understand why I needed to provide so much stuff the bank already has when applying for a credit card but anyway good start!
