Been watching vids online to learn splicing. Thought downloading this app would be nice to have when out of cell coverage. Only a few splices are free. Each additional is 5.99. Do the math and to have an app of all the splices would be over $100. No Thanks. I appreciate the online vids Premium Ropes has and was thinking of buying some tools from them to help support the video production. However, after downloading this waste of time I have a bad taste in my mouth, and probably won’t. If it were really free and just sponsored by the Co, I think they would be more successful in the long run, as it think it would help get them more tools and rope business. App only has pics not Vids by the way.

This App is now completely free. Some older reviews complain that a previous version only offered 3 splices for free. This version has all the splices for free. I leaned to splice by watching the Premium Rope YouTube videos. They are well done, informative, and to the point. I am really glad they have now a free App for those times I am on the boat with no internet access. The step by step pictures are a great reminder on the step by step splicing instructions I learned on the videos.
