Fallen on hard times, farmer Lewis converts an old bulldozer into a fantastic high-tech “diggin” machine. Help him dig up stuff to sell (60+ unique diggings) in a race against the clock to pay the mortgage and save the farm (campaign mode).
In addition there are 4 mini-game challenge matches, plus open-ended free play mode, offering hours of game play.
Manage fuel, temperature, and damage while searching for diggins. Sell them at the farmhouse to earn cash. Save cash to pay the mortgage, upgrade your digger, or make repairs. Use the on-screen “analog” joystick, or touch-screen to control digger movement. Watch out for rocks and caverns that disrupt your path. Have fun!

Gas so expensive?
Starting out, it cost over $100 to refill tank? I find myself just digging just to refill my tank so I can go dig some more to refill my tank.... maybe give players a little more room to enjoy and not get frustrated and regret spending $2.99 (especially new players). The game would be more enjoyable with two tiny adjustments. Just two. Either make the gas last longer or less expensive. For the second tiny adjustment, a little more light would be great in the beginning. I understand you want people to play and earn it. But in the beginning it doesn’t have to be so dark?... right? Not deleting right away because I love motherload and was hoping this would be a close second, with that being said I hope the devs haven’t given up on this game completely and make it less frustrating so new players won’t give up so fast.
A downgrade at best
If someone showed me a screenshot of the game and told me it was an early version IDigIt, I’d believe it. The unique mechanical hud has been replaced by boring generic look. Added to this, not all features are here. Casual mode is gone and the depth marker no longer exists. This will make your first play through excruciating as you learn the new limits and rules, which have changed drastically. On top of all this, the sound changes are terrible too. The old beeping noise alerting you to a full inventory is gone, so you will most likely be running a combo dig and end up losing one or two of the diggings as the game gives you a tiny cough of an alert about it. The new music they added has a sinister, dark tone to it, which is stupid for a game with literally no threat but your own carelessness. Lastly, the story elements of the game have been trimmed down from minimalist, to practically nonexistent.
The gam may be playable, but is by no means a better version. All in all, Stick to the old version. It may not use the full screen, but it’s still fun, and has honestly aged well when compared to this.
Disappointed
I’ve played the first IDigIt and that was fun. When IDigIt Expeditions came out. I was captivated and enjoyed the story and the water dig. However this IDigIt Remastered can be seen on a full screen but it lacks the hud display that I’ve gotten use to. Still there is a lot to dislike. No real alarm or warning that your low on fuel. Even the fuel gauge seems to deplete a lot faster. I mean a lot faster. Temp gauge is interesting but it’s hard to keep track of when it’s at the top of the screen and your fuel gauge is at the bottom. While your busy watching your fuel deplete fast you don’t look up as often when you’re Rig explodes because temp was causing damage. Plus the lack of stories or challenges, causes this game to fail short in being a fun game to play.
I hope InMotion fixes the problem and actually tests out.
