Subscription & Pricing Terms
Free version: Contains the calendar, a listing of all Saints for every day, daily readings, daily prayers, the hymn of the day, and thoughts of the day. When viewing the calendar, users see fasting and non-fasting days, can change from old calendar to new, and all icons are included as thumbnail images.
Basic version ($3.99 per year): Adds the ability to access one icon (per Saint and Feast day where available), and to read summaries of the lives of the Saints from Prologue of Ohrid.
Full version ($14.99 per year): Adds the full text of Prologue. In addition, you will have access to our complete icon database (multiple icons per Saint and Feast day where available), and the daily readings from Prologue brought alive with a broadcast voice.
Basic terms of purchase:
Refunds are not provided for unused portions of any subscription term, you will have access until the end of the current payment period. Subscriptions renew as of the date first enrolled, and users must retain their Basic version subscription in order to have access to the add-on subscriptions of the Full version, and:
• Payments will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Unused portions of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
I have had this app for several years. I pay for the full subscription. I use it every single day in the morning and in the evening. One of the best features is the amount of information in the Synaxarion. However, lately it doesn't want to load. I came here in search of answers to see if other users were having the same issues and I see that they are. Again, I love this app. I prefer it over going to the OCA website, however what am I paying for if it's not actually working! The voice reading does work all the time however I like to read the information for myself, and I also love looking at the icon pictures that accompany the description. Please fix this app because I would hate to have to give it up.This is the reason I'm only giving it three stars - otherwise I would give it five.I am editing my review!The developers absolutely and quickly responded to this issue!Since the writing of my previous review, I have not experienced any issues at all. Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to continue enjoying this lovely app and editing my review.I highly recommend this app.

It’s a pricey app and all its features don’t necessarily work. For example, when I go to a previous or future date, it shows all of the information for today’s date only. Therefore I really only have access to today’s information. Saints have always been slow loading, but got slower and slower, to the point sometimes, they no longer load at all. I am paying quite a bit for this app, so I do expect it to function. The problem has nothing to do with my internet connection or phone. Everything else I use works just fine. I contacted the app makers in the hopes that they could help. They told me to submit “send developer logs” via the app. Guess what? That doesn’t work either. I haven’t heard from them in weeks. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app helps, but I would have to do it daily in order to see improvement. It’s disappointing.PS: I see the app developers tell other users the same thing they told me. “It works perfectly.” Ummm…no, it doesn’t. The user shouldn’t have to reinstall it so frequently. That’s ridiculous.

I really love this app. IMO it’s the best orthodox app I’ve seen so far. The updated version is a big improvement and compared to the previous version is greatly easier to navigate. I LOVE the audio readings of the lives of the saints and the homilies. My only suggestions are to put the scripture readings in audio, and the additional prayers as well. Thank you for replying to my concerns and offering a “fix” as it did help. Sooo I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this app for ALL Orthodox Christians (old or new calendar). I think it’s the best app.

Very FRUSTRATED

Before January 1, 2019, this app was working great on my I-Phone 8. I used it every day and found the content very enriching. After January 1, 2019, the readings for the day disappeared! I have tried contacting support via the link provided. I have sent an email twice requesting assistance and the emails have been reported incorrect address. Hey, I used the link provided here to get to the web site and then used “contact us” on the web site. What is going on? I want my favorite app back!!!! I was charged on the Apple I-tunes and App Store for my annual membership on June 14th, 2018. There has been 1 other problem. Frequently during this membership, I have been blocked from using the app by a page that requests I “renew membership charges” or something close to that. I do so, and then am able to access the app. I have seen no further charges on my I-tunes and App Store purchase record, so that is a puzzle! Nothing on my PayPal either. So what the heck is that about? Annoying.
