The GOD’S NOT DEAD app explains the evidence for the Christian faith, as featured in the GOD’S NOT DEAD movies and in the books by Dr. Rice Broocks. It provides quick answers to the most common and challenging religious questions, and equips believers and non-believers with in-depth resources for further study. Rice Broocks' hope is that “there will be thousands of believers… who are able to defend their faith in the midst of the unbelieving culture around them,” says Broocks. “There are straightforward answers to the questions posed by skeptics, yet most believers aren’t familiar enough with them to explain them.” The GOD’S NOT DEAD app prepares those to face the challenges of an unbelieving culture. In addition, the app lists speaking and training resources by Dr. Broocks and other experts to help users overcome their obstacles and prepare them with the knowledge needed to share their faith. The GOD’S NOT DEAD app encourages users to keep the faith with messages of daily encouragement. I love the idea of this app, but it doesn’t work for me. I have tried for two hours to play these videos and the only one that would play is the first one when she is asking him why he decided to write the book. When I get to the second video of the evidence, etc. none of them will play. When I try to watch them it says I have to sign into Vimeo and to allow cookies. So I made sure my block pop-ups were off and all of that. I hit the play and even created a Vimeo account because it said I had to login to Vimeo, so I could watch it and still not working. You hit the play link, it takes you to log into Vimeo, and then it says it’s private video you can’t watch. I don’t have any restrictions set or anything blocked.

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. Updated content includes: + information about the new movie, "God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness", + information about Dr. Rice Broocks' new book, "The Human Right: To Know Jesus Christ & To Make Him Known", + new "Defend the Faith" section with videos featuring Dr. Rice Broocks & Dr. Frank Turek, + and more... We also fixed several miscellaneous bugs.
