This application is designed to give you quick access to an encouraging Word from the Bible right when you need it. Just start the application, go to settings and choose the categories for which you need to hear God's Word. Go back to the main screen and hit the refresh button. This will give you a verse(s) that speaks to one of the categories you selected. These are verses specifically targeted at these categories, so spend some time to reflect on each verse. NOTE: There is a timer on the refresh button to keep you from moving on. The idea is that you must reflect on the verse given -- not just refresh until you "like" what it says. There is a pricey in-app purchase to turn this feature off, but please only use that to help me out. I want you to use the timer! You can save a verse to your favorites, share it on social media, or read it in context.

This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included. - You can now choose the ESV translation (network required) - You can change the background image with an image in your photo library (in-app purchase)
