Français Authentique 12+

I am no longer able to take French at my school and was looking for solutions so that I don’t get rusty. This is great! I feel like I’m not only maintaining my French but also improving! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve off of basic French skills. And it’s free!

Avoir déjà utilisé les cours créés par Johan (les Packs 1 et 2 ; le Pack 3 à venir), et pris part à la communauté Français Authentique sur Facebook comme membre de l'Académie Français Authentique, je peux dire sans aucun doute que ce système marche ! Les podcasts que Johan nous fournit (gratuitement !) font parties intégrantes de son système et je suis ravie que maintenant nous pouvons les télécharger par le biais d'une appli. Comme c'est pratique !!! Merci Johan !

Having already used the courses created by Johan (Packs 1 and 2; Pack 3 to come), and been a part of the Français Authentique community as a member of the Académie Français Authentique, I can say without any doubt that this system works! The podcasts that Johan provides (for free!) are an integral part of his system and I am delighted that we can now download them through an app. It's very convenient! Thank you Johan!

Feature requests: It would be a great help if we could read the text while listening to the videos. When videos are playing, you cannot scroll. Requete pour le prochaine MaJ: donne nous un moyen d'ecouter à une video et en même temps regarder et lire la transcription STP.

What’s missing from the App is a way to jump back 15 or 30 seconds to repeat a little bit of the podcast. (Monsieur Johan, s'il te plaît, ajoute ceci pour nous, tes auditeurs, pour le prochain MàJ !)

Review
Johan speaks to you in clear french and only in french using a fairly simple vocabulary. His podcasts are varied, but they are exclusively in french and are transcribed in french for you. He explains french words an idioms in french - the best possibly way to improve your french comprehension. You are not going to learn french by listening to someone speaking to you in english.

Also, it would be really help if Johan would organize his podcasts into logical groups… Simple lessons, advanced lessons, and especially if he would separate out and organize his podcasts which describe french expressions and idioms, from his more random (and still entertaining) musings and discussions. FA is a great tool to increase your aural comprehension. I cannot recommend his method highly enough, which is to listen to and comprehend A LOT of french.
