Track how you ate, not what you ate. Build healthy streaks with one-tap meal logging. No calories, no databases, no judgement. Just a daily check-in that actually sticks.
Tired of counting calories? Moderation is a simple food diary built around mindful habits, not numbers. Log each meal with a single tap (healthy or unhealthy) and watch your patterns and streaks emerge over days, weeks, and months.
No calorie counting. No food database to search. No macros to defend. Just an honest daily check-in that actually fits your life.
WHY MODERATION
• Built for the calorie-counting refugee. If those apps felt like work, this is the opposite: one tap to log, zero numbers to manage.
• Mindful, not metrical. Track how you ate, not what you ate. Insights describe your patterns, not your deficits.
• Behaviour, not bookkeeping. Streaks reward fully-healthy days. Tags surface what's actually working. The work is awareness, not data entry.
• Privacy by default. No account, no ads, no sign-up. Your food log stays on your device.
• Lives in your day. Widgets on your home screen, Siri shortcuts for hands-free logging, Apple Health integration for weight trends.

I’ve been using this app for more than a year and pay for the Pro version in a yearly plan. I use it daily but on my iPhone 14 Pro it crashes all the time! I can’t really analyze my patterns very well because the app crashes every time I use it for more than 10-15 seconds. For a paid app, not good enough.
Good, but breakfast-centric.

I love everything about this app, except the fact that the UI really expects you to eat three meals a day — breakfast, lunch, dinner. I do fasting and don’t have much of an appetite in the morning, so most days I skip breakfast. The app really doesn’t handle that situation well. Is the dev in the pocket of Big Cereal? You be the judge.
Amazing app, changing the way I eat.

I was using another app for the purpose of logging meals and it was SUCH A SLOG to record all the details. By contrast this app is a breath of fresh air—all of the good and none of the slog... I LOVE IT! The streaks are super motivating. Add in the focus on privacy and I’m a convert. I want to donate to this app’s development team.
Good app but still could be improved

I like the app for the ability to log meals that are health or unhealthy and monitor the healthy lifestyle. On the other hand, you can only create tags for each meal. You cannot actually fully document what you are eating. It becomes subjective to what you think is healthy vs unhealthy.
Developer Response
HiThanks for the review. I’m planning on adding a “notes” feature which will let you add more detailed information about your meals in a future releaseDom
This update adds quick shortcuts for logged meals. Long-press any meal in your timeline to change the meal, update its healthiness, edit tags, or delete it.
Also in this release:
- Cleaner close button on the calendar day sheet
- Polished tag editing and meal reminders
- Fixed duplicate custom meals being created
- Better timeline refresh after edits
- Improved reminder reliability after time zone changes
