With the Alta Genetics Bull Search App you’ll find details on the industry’s Holstein, Jersey, Brown Swiss, and Mixed Breed sires. Filter bulls by various genetic indexes or by Alta’s pre-set breeding goals using USA proof base genetic evaluations.
Search for individual bulls by name, NAAB code, or registration number – or create and save customized filters featuring multiple traits. Save your filters and favorite sires for future reference.
The app also gives you the ability to export a group of bulls to an Excel list or as a PDF. Export files can be saved to your device, emailed or sent via text message.
After the initial download of data, this app is fully functional offline. You will be notified when new genetic data is available that will require internet access to update.
Within the app settings you can select your preferred language. It is currently offered in English, Czech, Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese.
Esta aplicación es una gran actualización con características que hacen más fácil encontrar la información que se busca. Muy rápida y con foco a las características más importantes. Felicitaciones!
Update includes new CDCB Milking Speed trait that will be available on Holsteins bulls starting in August 2025
