PRIVACY AND PRESENTATION
Your wallet is encrypted on your iPhone and protected by device authentication. Hide selected details without changing originals, save reusable Ways to Present, and open a focused full-screen view. Core wallet use needs no digiID account.
ONE FREE CARD
Your first saved card is free. Basic privacy editing, code checks, saved-card access, recovery and plain privacy-masked PDF export remain available without a subscription. Detection can miss details or codes; always review the result.
OPTIONAL DIGIID PLUS
Create pictured Apple Wallet references from any card category, or copies of compatible static membership codes. Plus also adds more cards, up to 50 Ways to Present per card, Prism/Aurora/Gold/Graphite privacy finishes, purpose labels for PDFs, and personal shortcuts and widgets.
The U.S. offer is a three-day free trial for eligible subscribers, then $3.99 per month. Apple shows local prices and eligibility. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Plus automatically renews unless canceled. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.
APPLE WALLET
Preview your masked card picture and optional lower-back detail. Personal references need no typed code. Membership passes support static QR, PDF417, Aztec and plain Code 128. Review detected codes; acceptance depends on the provider.
With consent, reviewed pass fields, image fingerprints and Apple subscription proof go to digiID's signing service. Card images are attached on your iPhone, not uploaded. Apple confirms Add to Wallet.
Wallet keeps a separate copy outside digiID's lock and may sync it through Apple. Later edits to your card or masks do not update exported copies. Plus is needed to create or recreate a pass; existing passes remain after Plus ends. Use Present card in Pass Details to open its saved presentation after authentication. Apple controls taps on the pass.
These are digiID-branded personal copies. Official IDs, payments, changing codes and NFC door keys require issuer support. Import an issuer's original .pkpass when available.
QUICK ACCESS AND EXPIRY DATES
Named card shortcuts and widgets open the matching presentation after authentication. Shortcut pictures are cropped automatically, with 14 frame choices. Apple requires you to hold the prepared card in Shortcuts, choose Add to Home Screen and confirm Add. Exported pictures and names are outside digiID's lock and may sync through Apple.
Add an expiry event to your chosen calendar with reminders 30, 7 and 1 day before expiry, after granting permission.
IMPORT AND PERSONALIZE
With Unlimited Cards or active Plus, import images from Photos or Files, crop and review them, and choose the classic digiID icon or the sample-card icon.
EXISTING PURCHASES
Your original Unlimited Cards purchase retains its purchased card and saved-version capacity. Restore using the Apple Account that purchased it. Ending Plus does not delete cards, uncover saved masks or disable saved presentation versions. Update without deleting the app to preserve older cards available for recovery.
OPTIONAL NITO ENCRYPTED VAULT
Purchase original Unlimited Cards first, then add NITO with a separate one-time purchase. Tap NITO encrypted vault for guided setup and local prices. Store photos and PDFs locally, search and rename files, and create manual encrypted backups. Device authentication protects access; its private shortcut is not a separate password. Recovery needs your backup file and separate recovery key. Cloud backup and sync are not included.
digiID stores personal copies. It does not issue, verify or replace official identification. Decorative privacy holograms are not issuer security marks. Purpose labels do not prevent copying.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and as far as scanning and using the app, it works great. The thing that really annoys me is I can’t sort the images in the order I want them so I find them much easier. As it is now, you have to look through all the scans to find the one you want. Other than that problem, the app works and I like it. I have the paid version.
Problem with removing a document

It won’t let me remove a document. Also the last document I entered won’t let me go back to the list of other documents. I have to completely shut the app down and start over. I may just have to delete it and find another app.Thanks to the developers I now know what to do. I like this app.

Thank you for updating your review after getting help. We've since rebuilt the navigation and card controls in 2.1.2. You can now press and hold a card in My cards, choose Delete card and confirm, or use Delete card in its detail view. Please give the update a try, and use Help under Purchases & support if navigation still gets stuck.

Love using the app, very helpful with storing personal information like DL, car insurance and registration info., Kaiser card, Soc. Sec. card, etc. WHAT I DON’T LIKE is the developer hasn’t updated the paid or free version for over 2 yrs. Are they perfect no, for one thing I would like to see a feature to SORT the cards I’ve entered to make them easier to find. Keep up the good work and give us some updates.

downloaded the full version first but I also just got this limited free version too, which surprisingly come just as handy,,, i have my important docs/ID on one and my super important ones on the other for even quicker access..... this might be my least used app for now but I’m sure it’s an app I will never delete. It’s definitely an essential utility.
