Tools like this are whats wrong with the service industry and why all the good techs are leaving. Forced video inspections and an ai grading system for “standards” techs don’t get paid for videos so you won’t get quality videos you will get the most basic and simple video possible and guess what it sells you don’t need to bs around with showing green items you show the yellow and red plain and simple it’s bad enough the length of time it takes to fill out the mpi and video with my karrma. Especially in busy shops with flat rate guys unless these companies start paying differently there will be an even large shortage of techs in the world all thanks to things like this.

This app could be a great tool but, it lacks many basic features found in competitor’s software that have already been refined over the years and work flawlessly. The app commonly crashes, freezes, and closes the multipoint inspection without any explainable reason. When submitting feedback or seeking technical support the mykaarma staff seems to place the responsibility of fixing issues and recording the app errors on the user instead of working towards a resolution.Technicians need to be able to see last inspections and be able to carry over prior estimates to new inspection to maintain consistency in pricing but. we can’t do this. The program also does not let us know what fields are left blank when trying sent the mpi to parts for estimates, it just says “fields missing”. It should be common sense or a software developer to make the notification inform the user of what fields were left blank. Mykaarma also degrades the video and audio resolution of uploaded content to the point where it is no longer usable and proper documentation for warranty purposes or communication of behavior observed on the vehicle for later viewing.Step up your game MyKaarma!!! You are leaving us all wishing our dealer chose to use a different company’s software that we already know works better than yours.

Basic package (texting, mobile payment, walk around video and tech video) works very well. Great customer feedback. Constant app updates are disappointing. Regarding online scheduler. Cheaper than other vendors but limited customization ability is a negative. Regarding Service Cart, it was released too early. Many improvements needed. Estimate with video delivered to the customer is excellent. Unfortunately, inefficient to use for employees. Too many clicks to view estimates, every action causes multiple notification pop ups, individual line totals missing from estimates, lacks basic customization to accommodate your stores work flow and more. Hopefully they will address. The tool has potential. 3 stars due to basic package.

The app is ok However there are a few tedious and frustrating issues. Reviewer is reviewing as a technician end user. The overwriting/refresh when someone is in the Repair order NEVER works. It’s frustrating typing in a whole paragraph just to not be able to save it and trying multiple times after that just to come up with the same result. It’s enough to make you want to throw your phone against the wall!!!There use to be a labor time section for techs to see how much a job was quoted for. You guys wiped that feature off probably with one of the many updates. I hate it, this has cost us many hours lost due to incorrect labor quotes!! Only way around this is to go on the desktop version to see labor time. But it does not make sense to go to two different places to get one piece of informationFix this and I’ll fix my rating if you MyKaarma guys even careEdit: Reached out for support.
