Getting ready for our Space Expedition, we are starting to go over our pre-flight check lists and as part of routine maintenance have: - updated the libraries that keep the app running - made search fields a bit more intuitive to find. Features - Support for iOS/iPadOS. - App is now in realtime (low frequency but not static anymore). - Authentication with eurofurence IDP including an all-new profile view. - Dealers can be added to favorites. - Global search on home: Search added to all places, back-press with search text clears search. - New dealer list screens with automatic categorization. - Events can be hidden and can be revealed again in the settings. - Warnings (language, timezone, device issues) can be hidden. - Images can be opened now (dealer, event banner, announcement). - Dealers and images can be shared. - Medium theme added. - Artist Alley registration directly from the app. - Device timezone: use the app in another timezone and see the event times in your local time. User Interface - Happening indicator now "LIVE" text instead of pulsing dot. - Progress bar for the events that are currently going on. - Favorites shown with a heart and in different color. - Notification text if the event or dealer was updated since your last visit. - Notification text on the home screen if any of your favorites was changed. - Timezone warning added. - Home-screen banner adjusted to allow more space for the new UI elements on the home screen. - Dealers now have keywords for all their categories. - Separate announcement screen for when there's a lot going on. - Toasts for when stuff in the app goes right (or wrong). - New dealer links available, for example Discord handles. - New glyph icon for ticketed events. - A lot of minor fixes here too. We’ve made a few more changes following your feedback! The schedule can now be filtered to favourites outside of searches, and events can be added to the system calendar. Additionally, we fixed a bug where the schedule may appear empty on first launch and an associated crash when tapping the tab bar. Enjoy the convention!

- Setting sail for EF26! - The app now supports dark mode, for all you night-owls out there - We've improved support for iPads and larger iPhones in landscape by adding an extra column, making better use of the extra space - Users on iOS 15 can place a widget to display upcoming events on the Home Screen. This can be customised to show upcoming or running events, optionally filtered to just favourites, so you always know when and where to hunt for treasure! We've also "encouraged" a few bugs to walk the plank and scrubbed the deck.

Seems we're finally cleared and ready for takeoff, after having taken care of all pre-flight checks and applying a few minor repairs, and expect little to no further complications on our flight en-route to the Estrel. … *a few minutes and various, suspicious clanking noises later* … nothing to see here! Well, we're not 100% sure that we'll be able to make you take flight just by loading up our app, but we sure will give our very best to get you through all pre-flight checklists, so you're ready for take-off when air traffic control gives you the all clear for runway EF24! We've given the app a fresh lick of paint and added support for iPhone X and iPad multitasking with a lot of changes going on under the hood, to make those quick turns, dives and the occasional looping run more smoothly than ever before, while making sure to provide flight crew and passengers alike with all the comfort and functionality you have come to expect from our aircraft…eeeh…app.

The events shown on the news page as well as the events list can also be filtered to only show your favorites. - Peek and Pop: If your iPhone supports Apple's 3D Touch, you can now preview announcements, events, dealers and info pages by pressing on them a little harder. On announcements and events, this also allows you to mark them as read or favorites respectively. - Dismissable Announcements: To keep the news page clean and tidy, you can swipe an announcement and mark it as read. (No worries, you can always get them back by selecting "Show all".) … and quite a few more things.
