StageLight offers lighting designers, operators, musicians, and filmmakers seamless control of lights via Art-Net (DMX512 over IP) and W-DMX (CRMX) for pro setups.
StageLight is a professional lighting control app for the iPad based on Art-Net (DMX512 over IP). The software combines the classic hardware lighting console feeling with a modern and intuitive user interaction design. The user interface is characterized by intelligent use of available space in combination with a high level of flexibility.
MULTIPLE UNIVERSES
Manage and control fixtures and groups in up to 10 DMX universes.
FIXTURE LIBRARY
StageLight provides a collection of fixtures based on the Open Fixture Library.
MIDI
Connect a MIDI Controller and turn StageLight into a hardware lighting console or synchronize Cue Lists with your favorite DAW.
CONTROL CHANNELS
The StageLight app works fixture-based. You can assign a single fixture, a group, or a cue list to one of these channels in up to 200 pages.
IMPORT AND EXPORT
Export and import projects or custom fixtures. To do this, use any share application (e.g. iCloud, Dropbox, AirDrop...) to share the projects with your friends or colleagues or between different iPads.
CUES AND CUE LISTS
Record Cues and playback them in Cue Lists as Sequence or as Chase. Different trigger and sync options are supported (e.g. Global BPM, Ableton Link. Midi Clock).
ABLETON LINK
Ableton Link is a new technology that synchronizes the beat, phase, and tempo of Ableton Live and other Link-enabled apps (DAWs) over the network.
In StageLight Ableton Link is used to synchronize the chaser's tempo.
CITP
In StageLight the Controller Interface Transport Protocol (CITP) is used to record Cues, fetch the thumbnail, and select fixtures in Capture.
OSC
In StageLight you can use Open Sound Control (OSC) protocol to control supported devices with OSC commands.
CRMX & W-DMX
StageLight supports Lumenradio´s Bluetooth DMX protocol. This makes it possible to communicate with all Lumenradio and OEM products.
This is a pretty clean and powerful emulation of a lighting desk, with some added benefits of a digital interface. Well done!I have not been able to get the audio-reactive (“Moods Effects”) section to work, nor could I find any video or tutorial explaining how to get it to work. The manual does not have detailed instructions either. Could you explain how to get it to work?

Becoming great for film sets

In the last 6 months or so Marko, the developer, has been implementing more and more film/video set UX features and built in support for pro film and video lighting fixtures. Hope the trend continues.

Can you PLEASE make the Blackout button;1. Say “BLACKOUT” instead of the Slice-Of-Moon Icon?2. The “Slice-Of-Moon” icon is currently only MOMENTARY (unless I missed something in the SETUP). Can you PLEASE make this have an OPTION to be TOGGLE “Slice-Of-Moon” ON and TOGGLE “Slice-Of-Moon” OFF? Like a real lighting desk can do... only make it say B/O or DBO (Dead Black Out) Instead of the “Slice-Of-Moon”? Shheeeeeeesssee
