Moje ING mobile received the Silver Laurel in the „Banking App 2025” category in the Invest Cuffs competition.
With our Moje ING mobile app, you can do everything you would usually do in online banking on a computer – there’s no need to choose where to log in. All features are available in the app. What can you do in Moje ING mobile?
• Check your account balance and transaction history,
• Log in using a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a PIN,
• Pay for purchases with your card stored in your phone,
• Handle official matters using a trusted profile,
• Top up your mobile phone,
• Buy top-ups for Netflix, Spotify, and other multimedia platforms.
You’ll find everything you expect from a bank:
• Make transfers, pay bills, repay your credit card, and set up standing orders,
• Set savings goals and track your progress,
• Open accounts and deposits, apply for loans or other banking products,
• Change card transaction limits.
Moje ING means simple payments, deposits, and withdrawals:
• BLIK code – pay for online and in-store purchases. You can also withdraw cash from ATMs and deposit cash at our deposit machines, including to your savings account (from age 13).
• BLIK phone transfers – no need to enter the recipient’s account number; just provide their phone number.
• Requests for BLIK phone transfers and bill splitting, making settlements easy (from age 13).
Features available only in the app:
• Dark mode – adjust the app’s appearance to your preferences (dark or light mode),
• Account balance before login – display the amount or a percentage value,
• Pre-login shortcuts – choose the functions that matter most to you and access them quickly,
• Push notifications for payments,
• Account balance preview on Apple Watch,
• Parking payments – pay conveniently for parking in the app without looking for parking meters and only for the actual parking time,
• Public transport tickets – buy tickets conveniently, anytime, and without waiting in queues.
Security in the Moje ING mobile app
Access to the app is protected by an individual 4-digit PIN, and entering the wrong PIN three times will block access to the app. Data related to accounts and other banking products are not stored in the phone’s memory, which increases data security in case the device is lost. Communication between the app and the bank’s systems is encrypted.
ING is also a bank for children. Moje ING is available from the age of 6. With your supervision, your child will take their first steps in the world of finance and achieve their goals. To start using Moje ING for children, open an account for your child or order a prepaid card for them.
With Moje ING, a child can:
• Send a request to a parent for a standard transfer, a BLIK phone transfer, a transfer to a prepaid card or savings account – each request can be approved or rejected by the parent,
• Send a money request to a parent, which the parent can approve or reject,
• Learn how to save and manage their money,
• Use Savings Goals to make their dreams easier to achieve,
• Ask a parent to top up their account or prepaid card.

Ignores language setting

The app, despite having been configured to use Polish in system settings, insists on presenting its UI in English. First time I use an app that somehow manages to fail obeying user preferences!Also, when requesting a BLIK payment, I enabled access to some of the contacts only, but you insist on full access. I don’t suspect you of spying on your customers and assume this is a big, but it’s still annoying.
Not the best UX and not ideal for foreigners

If you’re an expat or foreigner in Poland, I would not recommend this app because only parts of the app appear in English. For example, if you want to open a saving’s account, all your options will be in Polish. I hope they fully translate the app at some point. Their UX is also offputting. Feels unfinished.
