The Zhiyum app is nothing like the one used on the tutorial. All the online materials are in mandarin none in English. My gimbal does not connect with my iPhone XS Max, therefore, the gimbal control does not work. I have to take the photos through my iPhone screen which defeats the purpose of this useless device. The app screen is vertical and does not change to landscape. Overall very disappointing. I should have purchased the SMOVEVIDEO!***REVISED: Neither the tutorial not the instructions specify the correct app for your gimbal. The correct app for your Zhiyun Smooth 4 is the ZY PLAY. I'm happy now, that's the reason why I changed the rating from 1 star to 3.

This app worked OK on my iPhone 6 but when I recently upgraded to the latest iPhone, whenever I try to connect to my phone camera the app crashes. I would love to be able to use the app for face tracking but right now it is unusable.

The APP works great with iPhone X, I use it almost all time, What I don’t like is to have to use the app to work the button shutter! I would like sometimes to use native photo/video, even if only have the shutter button working.For improvement of the Zhiyun app is to have a vertical mode, without having to change the phone at the gimbal.

Dear Sir and Madam,I got the gift ( Gimbal Zhiyun smooth 4 ) from my boss along time ago.But I have problems with the Zhiyun Smooth 4 the apps in my Iphone.I want to download the Zhiyun apps but I always to got rejected it.Because I want to balance the gimbal with my iphone.Please to help me out the problems.And thank you so much for attention.Alexander Chan
