Making calls works fine. But I keep my phone on silent and rely on my Apple Watch to let me know when I’m getting a call. When people call via Unite I only get a notification saying I’ve missed a call. No option to answer the call on my watch or using my AirPods. It’s frustrating. *** UPDATE AS OF 7/8/25*** they finally fixed the “no notification on Apple Watch” bug that has been bugging me for 5 years! Also it’s clear they’ve made strides in improving the app. It’s pretty reliable for me now. I appreciate the work, Unite team!

Hi One Guy in Miami ,Thank you for your input. While we do not have that current feature, we are working with Apple, for a way to send the notification to the Apple Watch. Please ensure you are using the latest version of the app.
Absolute Junk for iphones

My company has been trying to get this app to work properly for our desk phones and iPhones for months. On the phone with tech support daily. Dropped calls, inability to answer calls on iPhone (rings and then says call failed over and over again), or won’t ring at all and all of the sudden there is a voicemail. Answered calls from hunt groups forwarded to hold groups disappear. Never ending loops for clients calling. Phone continues to ring after call is answered. Greetings won’t save, the problems go on and on. This app fails to deliver on the most basic task of being able to answer and maintain calls when clients dial your number. Our IT techs have over 30 years experience each and think this whole system is crap. Tech support at unite is worthless until you can reach an upper level support member to give you somethin other than canned responses and even then we still haven’t straightened it out. We have sniffers on our entire system and have no lost packets, GB/S Internet, the right hardware, firewalls, etc. I cannot wait til they give up on it because everyday we are losing money and has been nothing but a headache. Please don’t respond saying maybe it’s a setting - we’ve been on the phone with you daily since July and it’s December.

Super buggy. Unreliable service. Highly unrecommended for business use. If you need a second number for personal use maybe it has a purpose. Tons of calls lost, intermittent functionality within the app, I dealt with it for way too long. Finally it stopped working for a few days (without my knowledge) lost communication with clients, couldn’t message them, they couldn’t reach me either. Created a lot of problems for me and a bad perception with new and existing clients. When I called tech support they were unaware of the issue or how to resolve it. I decided to port my numbers to Verizon and Intermedia really made it difficult for me and Verizon to do so. Spent hours on the phone trying to port my numbers. I ported my most important line and gave up on my other lines. In the end it was a horrendous experience and I don’t wish that on anyone. Steer clear and get a real phone provider!!!!
Functional, but buggy

It gets the job done and call quality is pretty good. However, there are a fair amount of bugs. The call screen buttons are randomly unresponsive and need to be tapped more than once, or tapped very precisely to work. Sometimes pressing them has a lag, such as dialing a number, and I’ll accidentally type the wrong thing. It doesn’t prevent me from using the app successfully, but it’s just annoying and adds some friction to the user experience. There are various other minor bugs that pop up, but more than I would expect. I also sometimes have to force exit the app to fix issues, such as it saying it cannot connect to make a call. Force exiting always fixes it.
