This UV app works great for me! I have Polymorphic Light Eruption Disorder and (unfortunately) still live in Florida... And although I still wear UV protective clothing every day, on high UV days, I can't even go outside. This has saved me the guess work of "let's open the slider to see how bad my skin gets in seconds", or trying to depend on inaccurate readings from other websites. I'm very happy with this app! I'll update this review if it doesn't.

Half of the time it is right
Widget works great. Would be better if they added the hour forecast to the widget (hence the the 4*).

Very disappointed in this. I hardly ever purchase apps. This was a waste of money; it doesn't work! Just shows the town I am in. No UV number doesn't show up in the notifications like the picture shows! It's only a dollar but I wish I could get my money back just on principle alone!

• UV Index is now available in 14 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. • Choose your language inside the app — tap the flag button at the top left of the city list. Your choice is remembered. • Sun protection advice has been rewritten. The wording is clearer, and the recommendation now sits directly under the current index instead of below the graph. • The hourly graph has a new caption describing the day: when UV is rising, when it peaks, and when it fades. • Times now follow your device's 12- or 24-hour setting, and cities in other time zones are described in their own local time. • Fixed the summary text changing on its own while scrolling.
