Here’s what’s new in the latest version of Lightspeed Restaurant’s Self-Order Menu: - Got butterfingers? The “Edit” button is now bigger and easier to tap! - We’ve also added small visual cues, like highlighting the next action, to help guide the user through their order. Be sure to also check out the latest release of the Lightspeed Restaurant POS app.

Just as it should be, you can now tap an item’s image to add it to your order! There’s also an animation and item count for extra clarity

Here’s what’s new in the new and improved version of Lightspeed Self-Order Menu: - You can now edit order item modifiers and combos directly on the Current Bill (Kiosk) or Current Order (Table) screen. - The app will now always open to the Start Order screen when awakened from Sleep mode. - We improved the overall quality and consistency of the French and Dutch in the app. - The updated Restaurant Timed Events feature is now also supported in Self-Order Menu. Did someone say Happy Hour? - To keep you in the loop, we’ve also added a spin animation while taxes and totals are being calculated. Kiosk Mode - Order up! You can now set up SMS notifications to let your customers know when their order is ready. - We updated the old “Request Help” button to a simpler “Help” button that you can enable/disable at will. - The Select Payment Method screen will no longer show if you only have one payment type configured, saving your customers the extra step! - We’ve also improved the Inactivity Countdown so that it won’t initiate if there is a payment in progress. Table Mode - We added a Bill Requested confirmation screen to let customers know that the waiter is on their way to process the payment. - To avoid kitchen-ticket-fatigue, you can now set a mandatory wait time (in minutes) between customer orders as well as a maximum number of items per order. These limitations don’t apply to bar items so don’t worry, your customers will never go thirsty!
