more I really want to like this app, but even with a few Slack accounts, 2 Hangouts accounts, and 1 Messenger account, it is exceptionally laggy doing simple things like typing a response. I’d give this app another 2 stars if it could perform well, and an added bonus would be to have iMessage (iCloud/Messages) SMS integration.Right now, however, it’s pretty much unusable at certain times. Back to individual apps for me and bye-bye $19..99!

Got sick of running a half dozen browser tabs for messaging apps. This collects everything in one simple interface. The only issue I have is that discord notifications do not work well when you have more than one server connected (they all work fine inside of discord’s own sub-tab but the message counts etc do not percolate out to be visible when using another service), but i know this is common across many different messaging aggregators including franz and is likely discord itself that is causing the issue there.And yes technically this is just an aggregator of the various web front ends etc, but its worth it if you are drowning in messengers/chat apps, it keeps everything simple, consistent, and contained and that is absolutely worth the cost of entry for me.

I’m updating this review to say how much I love this app. I am using this app to manage my accounts on WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, Skype, Slack (where I have 8 active accounts), Twitter, and Google Hangouts (2 active accounts). Most of these accounts are work related and without this app, I would never be able to keep up. With this new version (4.1) this is absolutely one of my two most important apps from the App Store AND they have fixed the annoyance where I had to log in to each of those Slack account every time I restarted the app. Now they are just there and I couldn’t be happier.You should get this app.And the rest of this review still applies.I’ve been using OneChat for quite a while now and I’ve been impressed with how each version has gotten better. This latest version addresses my only complaint - having to log back into Slack accounts after quitting OneChat.I have 8 different Slack channels that I have to monitor for client requests This is due to the rules Apple enforces on developers, so I haven’t blamed the AppYogi developers. But they’ve come up with an elegant way to allow me to sign back into the 8 different Slack channels very quickly and I really do appreciate their efforts here. Yes, it’s a workaround, but it’s an elegant workaround that makes my life easier.Along with Slack, I’m constantly getting personal messages through Messenger and WhatsApp, and the occasional Google HangOut. And then there is Twitter. OneChat supports services I don’t use, but if I have reason to use them, I’m really glad they are there. Having more than I need isn’t a problem, because If I don’t have an account set up, they don’t appear.But the biggest reason I give OneChat a 5 star rating is their customer support. Not only is OneChat very convenient, but when I made a feature request, they responded promptly and describe what they are working on for upcoming features.
