I failed the first time even after reading the PMBOK and other review material like a Gita/Bible. I knew right away that something wasn't right. So, I searched for a good review course and came across Eduhubspot. The first thing that got me curious was that there were 3 modules including practice tests (versus one or two videos by others) that were free to watch and practice, which gives ample time to decide. I cleared the PMP exam on 26th December 2019. This has indeed been a challenging journey and I’d like to share my experience with all PMP aspirants. I would like to take a moment to thank my mentor Varun Anand without whom I don’t think this would have been possible. While the language of the PMBOK is simple and easy to understand, it surely seemed to be a daunting task to read the entire PMBOK. Why? Because I was unsure of what to focus on from an exam perspective and the PMBOK is no small book! Varun has done a wonderful job in designing his classes into simple manageable modules while following the structure of PMBOK, thus making it easy to relate the two. There is no need to memorize the ITTOs. You only need to understand the concept (the definition, why so & so is an input/tools/output to the process and the examples). Mock test. It is very important to find a good source of quality questions in order to clear the PMP exam. Varun Anand’s PMP Mentor package included 4 actual length tests in addition to the end of module test. Practicing the full length test is absolutely vital because this is where you cement your understanding. The Mentor himself. Varun is someone who is committed to getting the three letter word, PMP, after your name. From designing my study plan, clarifying doubts (even while on vacation) to filing the PMP exam application, his knowledge and dedication is praise worthy.

Go no further. This is the team that will guide and coach you thru the ENTIRE process. I wasted time and a lot of money with the splashy outfit that starts with a V. Concentrate your efforts and study with Varun and his team! You will not be sorry! Don’t get me wrong there is a lot of hard work and you have to DO the work but you will pass! I first took Varun on as my mentor which gave me confidence..and an expert to speak with. It then came time for me to determine “do I sign up for the expense of the bootcamp?” I had already spent over $1k on another bootcamp that just did not have the depth of learning that Varun and Eduhubspot had. I took the bootcamp and that was the turning point in learning. The most important aspects are 3, first Varun is an EXPERT, 2 Varun has patience and 3 he is an active listener. He doesn’t shine you on….. he answers Your questions. He and the team teach you more than fundamentals they teach you the methodology which is the essence of a good PM. The path and videos are Critical to your success. Don’t just listen to the correct answer Varun also explains why the other answers are incorrect, which is fundamentally important because those wrong answers provide you the OVERALL picture which you need to pass the First time. I firmly believe that had I not followed Varun, his knowledge and his mentorship I would not have passed. My GOAL WAS TO PASS but in the end I not only passed but I passed ABOVE TARGET in every category. That proves you know your material. Don’t make the costly and timely mistake I did, go with Varun Anand and Eduhubspot. One other important thing to understand is Varun KNOWS when you are ready to sit for the exam and he will tell you…..he is in it so both of you win and pass. After bombing my last set of 200 pre-test questions, I desperately searched the internet for answers as to what I was missing that could help me to finally pass a practice exam. Like a light in a dark room, the EDU HubSpot videos were the beacon of hope I was longing to find! As I went through Mr. Anand’s first video, I slowly came to understand why I had been struggling. It had been my approach to the pre-test questions and how I was reading them. I know now 100% that the EDU HubSpot videos are the reason that I not only passed the PMP but scored above target!
