Share text to the Today View, even when the phone is locked, or on your Apple Watch.
"Viewing notes on the lock screen is brilliant."

Need to keep a snippet of text handy? Tired of messing up your notes, trying to keep the app open and unlocked while you are trying to do something else.
Today Snippet will allow you to share text, or a selection of text, with the Today widget. Then you can see your info with a simple swipe right to the Today View, even when your phone is locked. The Apple Watch app also has a complication making it readily accessible.
You can select and copy the text on the Today widget, or launch the appropriate app using hyperlinks detected in the text. Once you have finished with the text on the Today widget, you can overwrite it, or delete it.
To go straight to the Today Snippet app Settings from the Today Snippet widget, just double tap on the widget.
- iCloud integration to share snippet across devices, just install Today Snippet on multiple devices
- Paste from the clipboard (in Settings)
- Ability to hide the Today widget when not in use
Notifications must be enabled for silent iCloud notifications to update the snippet. iCloud is now required, and the app will not work without it. Open the app to ensure that iCloud and Notifications are enabled, you will be prompted if they’re not.
- Long press on the Today widget to copy text or links.

Still wasn’t worth it.
Update: developer response made it a 4 star review. It still doesn’t do what I was hoping.
I guess it’s an okay app if you look at your pull down bar a lot: but I was looking for something that would pin a note to my lockscreen. So this wasn’t worth my dollar. Oh well.
Developer Response ,
It is pinned to your lock screen if you swipe right from the lock screen.
No need to unlock the phone.
Save your dollar 💵. Plenty of free widget apps do the same thing. I need to actually ‘stick’ it on screen just like you would a real one, right there- front and center when my phone ‘wakes up’. Windows has one that I used on a Samsung years ago and it was perfect, but I can’t find anything like that with Apple 🍎. I really don’t see how this app is useful- you can pretty much do the same thing using your built in notes app.
(My reason for a sticky note is to remind me to use ebates when I get on my phone to shop online.) I forget every single time 😩. That’s why I need a ‘note’ front and center.
When text is long it doesn’t load on your widget. Also there is no way to save a sticky note on the home screen. Pretty useless app waste of $1

The "Unable to Load" bug is fixed in version 1.5.0.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
