When King Solomon completed The Lord’s Temple in Jerusalem, and dedicated it to The Lord, he asked His blessing on it and the work he had completed. In this day and age of troubles, war, viruses, food shortages, and so forth, we would do well to remember the blessing King Solomon asked The Lord during his dedication. 2 Chronicles 6:28-32 speaks of Solomon asking the lord to hear the prayers of his people, and foreigners in distant lands, when they face His Temple, raise their hands toward it, and pray. Solomon asks The Lord to hear those people and answer their prayers. Today, the temple is not standing, physically, but we must remember, God lives in Eternity. He lives in all times, all the time. We can speak with God anywhere, anytime, and this app is a very handy tool anywhere, anytime, to quickly show you which direction to face, raise your hands, and speak with God.

This app does exactly what it sets out to do. Every time I need to know, it helps me find the direction I should face and tells me the distance from Jerusalem, which helps my mind be prepared and feel connected for prayer! I thought it was silly, just a compass, but I find it to bring more meaning to my prayers wherever I am in the world.

This app is good when it works. Sometimes it struggles to locate the Navigation and location information and you have to close and restart the app 2-4 times to get it to work. This is frustrating. But after a few annoying restarts the app will correctly sync with the location and navigation information in your device and show you where the western wall is located. This problem occurs even though the offline location is saved in your device for the app.Very rarely it will give you an add to watch because you have had to close and reopen the app more than 3 times. But most of the time even opening and restarting the app 5 times doesn’t make you watch an add. The other issue is privacy issues that are not updated with IOS yet. So you don’t know what privacy this app has or what it is collecting about you and sharing with ???!! If not for these issues this app would definitely be 5 stars.

Unfortunately the direction is not at all correct. Disappointed 😢 because I was hoping that it could use satellite and internet connection to help me face the western wall. Unfortunately it cannot. I have an older iPad. The Prayer 🤲🏻 times are spot on though. I will check back in a few months and see if this is something that has been remedied. But at the moment because my iPad doesn’t have a built in compass 🧭 unfortunately for me this app doesn’t work correctly.
