Octave Attune EAM Mobile App The "Octave Attune EAM Offline" app (formerly "HxGN EAM Mobile Offline") allows organizations to perform functions such as Work Management, Materials Management, Inspections, Checklist and Asset Inventory. The app, after an initial sync, can operate in a disconnected mode allowing users to continue to create and modify data even when a data connection is not available. Once the device re-establishes a connection, another sync is required to save the new and modified data from the app to the server as well as to retrieve the latest data from the server. The app also has a map screen that works with ESRI’s GIS software. Certain Octave Attune EAM version is required to work with this App. Network connection is required for the app to sync with the server. A database script may be required to support certain versions of Octave Attune EAM. Contract Octave Attune EAM Support for more details. Please Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Clunky, slow, and not optimized for mobile/fieldwork

The software developers promised this software would improve productivity by being streamlined and linear, but it ends up being a convoluted mess that takes forever to navigate and is as slow as molasses to upload or receive work orders. EAM also breaks if you change or modify identifiers outside of your job description, but you have no idea what falls outside of your job description because they don’t block you from making those changes. Overall, I highly suggest you convince your place of employment to NOT go with this software as it will cause unnecessary headaches for everyone involved.

Down more often than any app I’ve ever used for work order management. Horrible Jane trying to connect to any workspace whatsoever, so, if your in a business, you will more than likely need to rewrite everything you make in hexagon, back into your actual work profile/tasking if you want to keep track or get any type of paper trail for work orders.

Newest version of checklist is horrible

My general opinion of this app is that it works. However, managing the changes the company pushes out as improvements is very challenging. One of the most recent challenges it the implementation of the checklist on mobile. It is not intuitive. It is like Infor does not have a usability person on staff. They went from a checklist that was straightforward for our craft personnel to understand to a very confusing nonintuitive interface. Does infor even test this app before releasing. Many versions I have found obvious bugs minutes after using. We use it because we are invested in it. If thing don’t improve we may look at writing our own mobile app.

New Map View tab on WO Schedule screen. New Org. Option support for CHCKLEXP allowing to open Checklist fully expanded. Support for Work Order list view configuration via Screen Designer. Support for LGNLOGO and APPNAME install parameters. Support for NFC tags. The maximum length for the Model field increased to support 80 characters. Note: 12.3.1 Mobile DB script is required for this release. Script is not required to rerun if it is already applied.
