So far I haven't met anyone yet but I've made a lot of connections and I'm going to meet several people soon. The app definitely seems to do it's job well, but functionally it could use some help. In the past it seems like the app was really slow (according to other users) and while I haven't had too many issues dealing with slowness... Sometimes the keyboard does lag pretty bad when i'm trying to message someone. As far as everything else goes, things seem to be fine! My number one annoyance with this app is that it seems like a lot of people just use the app to fulfill their needs, then just delete it. While there is nothing wrong with that, there is quite a few accounts that I swipe through that haven't been touched in a year. It'd be nice if you guys made like a default setting where if the account is touched in X amount of time, it gets deactivated. I think having too many ghost accounts is just a waste of time honestly and it'd be nice to see this change. Keep up the great work though! I really like this app and it's helping a lot of people out. Keep it up. :)

JAB is Decent but needs more variety

Just A Baby or JAB offers a variety of people and scenarios for people to safely conceive whether by planned IUI/IVF, AI, shipping and home insemination or PI/NI. Some people are a bit snarky in their descriptions so there should be some common courtesy and some may need to tone down or improve their profiles. AI recipients are 100% absolutely entitled to advertise they are AI only with NO CoParenting and all donors MUST respect them without question nor try to convince them otherwise to do some other form of insemination and or demand to be a part of the child’s life. Having said that though there needs to be mutual respect on both sides without any judgement or preaching about PI, NI, or CoParents being some kind of perversion or taboo. Some men and women feel NI or PI is what is right for them. All of these are choices that BOTH parties can advertise and choose for themselves and agree to find the right recipients and donors or Co-Parents for themselves. My advice might be to break down JAB into different forms of insemination and options just for Co-Parents or even those few individuals who might be looking for genitors or dating leading to children. That way there is no confusion when you are looking for a certain type of donor or recipient instead of wading through a plethora of every type. I do like how the number of profiles is growing overall and JAB seems to crack down on so called fake profiles which pop up quite often. This site is better than so other sites but could still use a little improvement to make it even better. Overall I’m happy with the site. While I haven’t yet met anyone due to distance and traveling issues mostly, I’m pleased to talk to several possible recipients as a mainly NI donor. I’m looking forward to genuinely helping out women and couples conceive they child they so desire and need.

I conceived my first child thanks to this app. I was recommended to this app by multiple ppl who had positive experiences using it. As a woman who identifies as lesbian I was a bit hesitant because of some creeps I encountered, but once I paid full subscription I was able to weed out the bad apples and found the perfect donor ! I selected this particular donor because he made me feel comfortable and strictly only wanted to donate. He came froman educated background which is important to me. He provided genetic testing and STD reports. It was a professional transaction without actual physical contact with another. I conceived via artificial insemination on the 1st try. My baby girl is due in May and I couldn’t be any happier ! Thank you JAB !!

Poor performance and dishonest people

This is a very sluggish app, it takes a while to load, randomly freezes, the interface is not intuitive and is full of people who are probably not real. So far I’ve connected and built entirely virtual relationships with at least a dozen women who are not who they say they are. I’m not even sure their pictures are real. They will tell you to connect with them on WhatsApp where they will hustle you endlessly for money but when the time comes to meet, they never follow through, probably because they are not real people to begin with. Most of these people on here are hustlers who prey on older couples desperate to have a child. If you want to be be conned out of your money and time, continue wasting your time on this app which in no way screens these people. At this point, I would just go with a legitimate surrogacy agency costing $60k overseas or $150k in the USA. Get a second mortgage or something, it’s not worth it wasting any more time on this app.
