How It Works:
- Type a task into the Today quick-add bar and tap return to save it instantly
- Watch preview chips appear under the field for a due-date pill, priority flag, list hint, and tag chips while you type
- Tap Plan my day from the top card or Today menu to draft a timeline for today
- Review each slot with a suggested start time, end time, priority dot, and reasoning chip before continuing
- Use Tweak plan, Dismiss plan, or Share plan from Today after a draft appears
- Search from the navigation drawer to filter today’s tasks by title, notes, list name, or tag
Common Use Cases:
- Capture “buy milk tomorrow at 6pm” and save it with the cleaned-up title, date, and time
- Add “send the deck friday” with a high priority and keep it visible with an overdue badge if time passes
- Create a recurring weekday task using the Every weekday preset so it rolls forward when marked done
- Keep home and work separate with custom lists, emoji markers, and one of 8 color chips: sunrise, sky, violet, moss, amber, berry, slate, or teal
- Use tags as cross-list chips for projects, errands, or family tasks
- Open Calendar, pick a date from the month view, and see only tasks with a due date on that day
Tips:
- Use Add task with details from the Today menu when you want notes, estimated minutes, tags, and list assignment before saving
- Mark done from the leading circle to complete a task or roll a recurring task to its next occurrence
- Look for the Reminder chip on a row to confirm a reminder is scheduled
- Look for the Recurrence chip to confirm a repeat rule such as Every weekday
- Check the pending count on each list row to see what still needs attention at a glance
Settings You Can Change:
- Theme: System, Light, or Dark
- Plan my day status: see whether planning is available or using Smart Sort, plus the current reason shown on your iPhone
- Reminders status: view Allowed, Quiet, Off, or Not set, plus your scheduled reminder count
- Open Settings from inside the app if reminder access is denied
- About: view app version details
- Legal: open the privacy policy and standard license terms
Privacy Notes:
- Your plan can be drafted on device when available
- Shared plans are sent as plain text from the share sheet
- Your exported data can be accessed in the Files app for backup or recovery
Designed for real daily planning:
The Today screen starts simple with a clean-slate message and an Add your first task action when nothing is scheduled. When a plan is ready, your day becomes a clear timeline instead of a long list. If planning does not go through, you can try again from a built-in recovery state instead of guessing what happened.
