myAthensPass is now AthensWay. AthensWay is the new official app of the City of Athens, replacing myAthensPass and marking a new era in the city’s digital mobility services. With a refreshed design, enhanced user experience and new features, AthensWay brings parking, travel information and mobility services together in one modern, user-friendly app for residents and visitors to Athens.
From myAthensPass to AthensWay
If you already use myAthensPass, your profile, available e-wallet balance and parking ticket history will be automatically and securely transferred to AthensWay.
To access your account details in AthensWay, sign in using the same email address you used for myAthensPass. There is no need to create a new account. Once signed in, you will have access to your available e-wallet balance and parking ticket history.
Controlled parking made quick and easy
With AthensWay, you can:
* View controlled parking zones on the map and automatically detect your location via GPS.
* Buy parking time in just a few seconds.
* Save multiple vehicle registration numbers and activate parking tickets for different vehicles.
* Top up your e-wallet by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
* Activate a parking ticket without having to top up your e-wallet separately beforehand.
* Receive a notification before your parking ticket expires and extend your parking time remotely.
* Purchase a parking ticket in advance for the next operating day or operating period.
* Check the operating days and hours of the controlled parking system.
* View your transaction history and digital receipts.
Live parking availability at Kotzia Square
Check live availability at the municipal underground car park at Kotzia Square before you arrive, including the number of available spaces and current occupancy rate.
Real-time bus information
Plan your journeys more easily with real-time information on OASA buses:
* View bus lines, routes and stops.
* Save your favourite bus lines.
* Check estimated arrival times.
* Track the live location of buses on the map.

I downloaded this app after seeing street signs saying it’s required to pay for parking in Athens but I couldn’t use it at all since it simply wouldn’t load. After opening, the app loading wheel just kept spinning until it errored out. Couldn’t pay for parking, even though I tried.

Won’t let me top up

I can’t use the app bc it won’t let me top up my account. It’s all frozen. I can’t get to my profile and I can’t even open the app. I’m in an area we’re I can’t see any kiosk to buy a card and I’m staying with a friend in a hospital in the center of Athens in 40 degree heat!!!! I’m appalled and scared of getting a ticket. Where do I send a formal complaint.
