Better than others

Not sure if I can name them but this deefenitely works and it's the best at compressing images. Unlike other apps I tried, this doesn't desaturate the photo. I am able to keep great quality when I upload to my portfolio on Wordpress. This means I don't need to buy a plugin to optimize my images, I can do it straight from the mac.

Thank you! Really glad JPEG Jackal keeps quality without desaturating — thrilled it compares well for your workflow.
Compares very well to Photoshop

I’ve run some tests comparing compression levels and JPEG Jackal does a fantastic job. With heavy compression, files are virtually indistinguishable from the original viewed at 100%. It’s not until you zoom in at 200, 300%+ where artifacting becomes visible. Great option for those looking for an affordable alternative.

Thank you! Glad it works well — extra hash types are appreciated suggestions.
