Subscription payments will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of your purchase and upon commencement of each renewal term. Subscription with a free trial period will automatically renew to a paid subscription. You can cancel your subscription or free trial in the iTunes settings at least 24-hours before the end of each current subscription period. I'd love it if Push notifications worked. Instead you have to have the application open if you want to know if someone has sent you a message. There are now three versions of WhatsApp for Ipad and none of them have this feature though 2 of them, this being one, either claim or request permission to send push notifications. At this point I'd settle for even the little red number in the corner but even that doesn't work. On the plus side, you can multitask with split view on IOS 11, which you can't with the other versions thus far. So there is progress it seems
Really Poor Implementation of Key Features; Constant Harassment

What makes this app intolerable is the fake push notifications and app-badging; which don’t go away even if you pay for “Pro” features. Today I received three fake push notifications, along with the red badge, that were only designed to make me open the app (presumably to serve me ads); I received no actual messages. In fact, I’ve never received a push or badge when I had a genuine message. Useless. It’s dependency on having iPhone on a local network, in my case, is not a total dealbreaker, as I always have them both, but it’s a sad state of affairs. At the same time, WhatsApp inexplicably refuses to play on iPad, so, as a matter of convenience for viewing and typing, I tolerate this app and will silence it’s pointless notifications. This app provides iPad accessibility, and that’s it. I paid for Pro as a way to support that, and feel cheated and abused that it still harasses me. It is, altogether, a horrible experience.

Not a practical app at all for iPad

Functionality is almost as smooth as the iPhone’s, so on that bar it s not bad. However, the fact that you have to have your phone not only on the same network but have WhatsApp opened on the iPhone for the iPad WhatsApp to remain open makes this app completely pointless. FB Messenger beats WhatsApp in this regard, which I feel is the most important. When I get home, I toss my phone aside, and can seamlessly continue on FB messenger, which stays connected, and has full and functional push notifications on all devices, not just iPhone. WhatsApp iPad fails miserably here. If you want to use this app on iPad, and you don’t mind having the iPhone open right next to it with WhatsApp on iPhone also open, then you won’t mind this app. If you’re like me, and you chuck the iPhone aside when you feel like using the iPad, this app won’t let you.

Okay, so this app’s fatal flaw is that it doesn’t notify me every time I get a new message EVEN WHEN the phone app is open/ active. A few users had the issue in which the phone and other device (iPad) doesn’t sync together unless the phone app is remaining active. My case is pretty bad though, I have to manually open and check this app on my iPad for it to load whatever that came in my phone first. Push notifications are non existent so you’re just gonna have to live with this until this is fixed. It’s pretty pointless having this on my device when the sole reason for this app was to be alternative second in command to the main mobile app in notifications, but is instead like the little brother who was dropped on the head as a baby.
