Isn’t useful unless you have the premium version from other reviewers I wouldn’t recommend it either

Don’t waste your time downloading this app, or paying for the premium subscription. I’ve used this since last year and remained patient with the subscription recommendations and suggestions bombarding me for months. “You’re all out of samples” I endured it and continued using it since it still remained useful to me when writing assignments or writing my stories. However just recently after updating it, its functionalities have become increasingly unusable. It will no longer respond as requested. I can longer continue using an app that is clearly designed to work consistently unless there is a subscription involved. We have to pay in order to receive access and service for its functional mobility to continue? It’s not just the subscription that’s the issues it’s the fact that users have reported the exact same issues with the app. Even subscribers are dissatisfied with the service of the app. If subscribers and customers aren’t receiving what was originally advertised then this is merely just another result of a platform lack of consistency and quality with the content they provided. Profit seems to be a main objective for Grammarly instead of satisfaction of the users that downloaded it for their own benefit. Support other apps that care about their consumers and users. Using other alternatives might be the only advice I can offer for any who are in the same position as me.

Suggestion: when a correction is suggested it would be nice if the reason/rule of grammar is quoted so we’ll learn at the same time. Maybe that's a premium service idk but that way you actually learn versus just blindly accepting correction and sometime not knowing exactly what or why the grammatical error is you’re making. IJS....Also I was proofreading my answers to a test and out of four questions asked one was supposed to have a grammar error. I typed all four sentences exactly into Grammarly but it didn't indicate any errors/corrections needed. Yet of course according to the test you were to identify the one that was wrong. So I hope I chose the right answer based on their criteria. So I don't know what's right the test or Grammarly. The test results don't tell you which were right answer not wrong; if they consider yours wrong, they just say it's wrong & give you the calculated score. Can somethings really be that subjective? I'm going to try and research the questions via another source and see if I can get different result. If that's the case then I may have an appeal to the test results scoring based in those questions that possibly could have more than one way for an answer to be considered correct.! Perhaps they need to update or clarify questions so there are no options for a correct answer. I'm sure there are plenty in this review because I ignored all suggestions.

Impressive and helpful but pricey

This app is very impressive. At first, I didn’t use any of the options that had to change the mistakes, but by accident, I pressed that green, the top left, and to my surprise, I started reading what it said and was so surprised how it caught the mistakes and how easily it was to change them. I also really like how they added the number row to the keyboard. My previous phone had that when I upgraded, the keyboard no longer had that which is why I was searching for a new keyboard. I kinda got frustrated and just stopped and came across Grammarly and kept it now I’m glad I did. The main reason I like it or I should say love it is the part where it will improve what you have written. For example, if you want to sound compassionate, you can choose that option and it will do that for you, which is truly an amazing feature. So far, I’m liking it, and I am very much leaning towards purchasing the premium, but it is kind of pricey which is why I am only giving it four stars. I think that it could be just a little lower and that would be the only reason why four stars, but besides that, it’s a great app, especially when texting and communicating with others and you want to revise your message to where others will understand it and not perceive it wrongly which has happened to me in the past.
