Beacon Walker 4.0 is a big redesign. - A new iPhone home screen, with Simulation, Scanning and More on their own pages. - Scanning sorts beacons by signal strength and opens with the last UUID you used. - iPad: purchase and the free demo countdown stay visible at the bottom of the sidebar, with a countdown ring while the demo runs. - If you leave the app while simulating or scanning, a notification lets you know it's paused. You can turn this off in Settings. - Beacons stay on air more reliably when you switch beacons or Bluetooth restarts, and Always-On survives brief interruptions like opening Control Center. - Purchases unlock the app reliably, including purchases made on your other devices. - A refreshed About screen, with a built-in way to send feedback. - Free version: one 30-second demo now covers both simulation and scanning (scanning was 20 seconds), and you can use up to 5 beacons. BeaconWalker Plus removes both limits.

We've optimized a view views to make them shine even more plus we have a more polished logo for the latest iOS update.

We have an exciting new feature for iOS & iPad OS: Scanning iBeacons is here. Now you can not only simulate beacons, but also scan beacons nearby. The all-in-one solution for working with iBeacons. Oh and we also made some smaller improvements and optimized a few things here and there.

We streamlined the Settings view and merged a bunch of information from the About screen in. Your home screen looks much cleaner. Oh, and we squashed some bugs.

We found and fixed two bugs that could lead to sporadic crashes and used the opportunity to update a few things behind the scenes.

We've excited to announce a new feature: Always-on beacon. For Beacon Walker Plus users, you can now easily keep the phone awake, so it never stops transmitting your beacons.

We added support to export your current beacon file. This comes in very handy in case you added a beacon manually or created a custom list of beacons.

Fixes a bug where deleting a beacon while sequencing could cause a crash.

You can now add a beacon manually without having to edit a JSON file. We also added support to temporarily remove a beacon from the list of loaded beacons. Under the hood we cleaned up a whole lot of things and fixed a bunch of bugs and made improvements along the way. Enjoy!

We crafted a whole new iPad experience and made some usability improvements throughout the app. Oh and behind the scenes, we refactored a lot of logic, making it easier to add new features over time.

We resolved a bug where some users weren't able to import files from iCloud.

We improved the import flow and display error messages in case a JSON file doesn't conform to the specs. We also added support for legacy JSON files to get imported.

We fixed a bug where iBeacon transmission would not always stop when the stop button was pressed.
