I tried my share of to-do apps before coming across this one. None of the others mimicked the simple UI I was looking for. In “real life” I always kept track of tasks at work pretty simply - I’d throw up a post-it on my board as a new task came in, arrange against ythe others in order of priority, and bin it once completed. At home I’d write to-dos in a notebook and scratch off as completed. This app shares the same idea as both methods - it is equally simple, effective, and satisfying, plus adds the ability for me to link tasks to dates if I feel like it. And without wasting paper 🤑

Great interface!

Its user interface is amazingly simple. I was looking for a minimal time planner and i had almost lost all my hope in finding one right after installing a large sized app, claiming to be minimal, but far from it. But i saw Whenever and since the size was rather small, i installed it. When i put in my first schedule in it... i realized, this is it! It was the app i have been looking for. Thanks to the deveoper, many thanks.

Why I like this app

This by far surpassed my expectations. I have tried many other calendar apps but they do not even come close to comparing. My favorite feature is how you can move an event to another day. For example when I have a long term project I just keep moving it so I remember. Could not recommend enough.
