Latest Update fixes some issues
Ebm2007
Latest update handles layers now and exported curves solving exporting as bitmap. Still does not export to SVG. Looking forward to future updates to resolve. Thank you!
Developer Response
Hello, thank you for writing a comment. Please update to version 4.2.4 and it's fixed. Now exported vector files are true layered PDF vectors.
Marginally Useful
vanChippe
Does what it says. However, the next step up, the Pro version, converts to other formats only at the single size of the .eps or .ai preview, and cannot be sized upwards. If your postscript file preview is saved “small,” you get a conversion the size of an icon, period. Frustratingly close to useful, but only a tease.
Conversion works!
FourFingerGlove
I tried converting PDF files to EPS and it actually works perfectly! Great job!I tried three other applications from the App Store that claim to be able to do the conversion but all failed!
Allows to Open - Charges to save
Miareal
I needed to open and save the logo that I paid for and needed to open the EPS file. I downloaded the App and it opened it, but then requires you purchase it to save it. Not what I expected. They should be clear about that part of it.
New formats
XPS and OpenXPS. Microsoft's document formats now open, with page navigation, printing and export.
Photoshop Large Documents. PSB files open and preview alongside PSD.
Pixelmator files. PXD and PXM documents open on Macs with Pixelmator Pro installed.
InDesign: INDD, INDT and IDML, with every spread, page by page.
Comic books: CBZ and CBR, read page by page with a page sidebar, and exportable to PDF.
Fonts: TTF, OTF, TTC, OTC, DFONT, WOFF and WOFF2. See every glyph, resize them with a slider, and export a glyph sheet as a PDF.
Apple iWork: Pages, Keynote and Numbers.
Figma and OmniGraffle.
Screenshots from the menu bar
Capture an area, a window or the full screen from the new menu bar icon.
Set your own global keyboard shortcuts so you can capture from any app.
Screenshots go straight into your library, tagged "screenshot," in Inbox, a Screenshots collection or any collection you choose.
Save as PNG, JPEG or HEIC, and optionally copy each capture to the clipboard.
A new welcome page walks you through allowing Screen Recording.
Watermarks
Add a text watermark when you export to PNG, JPEG, TIFF, PDF or SVG, or when you combine files into a PDF.
It scales with the export size, so it looks the same at 1x, 2x and 3x.
Crop images
Crop any image right in the preview, then export it or save it as a new file.
Crops are cut from the full-resolution original, not the screen.
Copy Area and Copy Text. Drag over any part of a preview to copy it as an image, or to pull out the text it contains using built-in text recognition.
Copy colours from the Inspector. Click any colour in a file's palette to copy its hex value straight to the clipboard.
A new theme. Everglade joins Rose Pine and Olive Dunk — a deep blue-green with a mint accent. All three now reach the whole window: sidebars, Inspector, dialogs, toolbar and menus.
Better exports. Every vector format now exports to PDF as vector instead of a flattened image — including DWG, which couldn't export to PDF at all before. Exports respect the DPI you choose, and SVG files export at their true size and proportions.
More formats print. Printing now supports CorelDRAW, CMX, WordPerfect Graphics, EPS, WMF, EMF and EMZ, joining PDF, Illustrator and images. Printing also works straight from the library, without opening a file first.
Also in this update
Sharper at any zoom — PDF, Illustrator, EPS, CorelDRAW, SVG and more are drawn as true vectors as you zoom, staying crisp at high magnification without slowing down or filling memory
Faster exports, and various fixes to rotation, centring and thumbnails
Fit now centres your drawing in a single step, from any zoom or position
The Inspector follows the file you're viewing as you step through with the arrow keys
Visio stencils and pages that appeared blank now display correctly
Export shows matching width and height as you type when aspect ratio is locked
The menu bar icon no longer shows a background colour under custom themes
