INSTANT POSTING AND REPLYING

Discourse keeps you connected to the discussions that matter most to you.
IMO it is not a problem that the app opens a web View for you to interact with discourse itself. Discourse provides such a solid mobile browsing experience anyway that building a native app which would improve upon what the mobile web version does would require a ton more work than most people realize. I think that managing notifications and providing a unified location for accessing the discourse instances that you follow is a perfect sweet spot for this app and so far it has served that role well.
Blinding white refresh and slow, draft didn’t work

I have the app in dark mode. But when I to go back to my feed after trading a thread, I get a full white page that blinds me in the dark before it goes back. Also, in my home network, where I have tracking protection enabled , loading of threads is very slow.Lastly, I can no longer edit and write posts in iOS 26.1. Selection and buttons are not in the same place as they are shown on the screen.
Well, it does work some again

Update: since the release today, 4Oct2025, it works again. Wasn’t working at all for about a week. This has been working reasonably well up until 26.0.1 & this release came out. It opens and then freezes. Does nothing, have to force quit.
Nope.

I was given the impression that this would be a good alternative to discord. It is in fact very much not. Trying to just get set up to search for communities to join it’s trying to get me to set up my own community. Not something I’m interested in. Just want to set up my own community “profile” and find like minded people.Though the fact that it does come out and say that they want everything to be searchable gives the impression that conversations wouldn’t be able to be deleted. It does make me question the reality of the intent behind this community…Will keep on looking.
Disables the keyboard accessory bar when in individual forums.
