I have 13,000 photos on my phone. And thanks to this app, I’ve been able to keep it at that level for months now. But I’d like to cut that number by 75%. Deleter works really well but has one major shortcoming: it needs more flexibility with large camera rolls. For example, create views using some exif data like camera used, calendar month or even just year. Let me sort by uncropped or generally unedited photos. I’m sure there are other creative ways. The folder options available right now are good, but fixing this would make it easier for culling larger volumes.

Not sure what I would do without this app, or what others are doing, but I can’t live without it! I’ve been using it for a while now and, while it’s not perfect, love it.I mark photos I want to keep as favorites, I make sure to sync ALL photos and videos with Dropbox and Google Photos (or Google Drive, iCloud, etc) and then open up Deleter to remove all the non-favorites. I instantly free up several gigs of data on my cell phone.I love that before you delete all photos you can still see which are going to be deleted and select from that same screen which you actually want to keep.I also love that it doesn’t permanently delete them immediately, provided you are human and made a mistake (it’s not a bug, it’s a feature guys lol). It moves them all to the Recently Deleted directory, where you confirm that you want to delete them all. I can’t imagine deleting all photos and then cherry picking the ones I want to keep, or vice versa.Hidden photos are not deleted, but again this is a convenience feature, not a bug.It’s also fairly quick and handles deleting over a thousand photos and videos with ease, and has never frozen on me, surprisingly.Highly recommend this app! Also the developer seems to be relatively responsive, which is always appreciated as a fellow developer.Feedback: Would love to be able to exclude certain albums, but I know that might be quite difficult considering that it seems to really be based on the Favorites feature. That would make it perfect though!

I’ve had this app for many, many years. Maybe 7 or 8 years? Right now, as I write this review, I can it’s the most stable it’s ever been. No more crashes after each massive delete. Which is how it’s always been. Even with the crashes, I couldn’t manage my phone without this app. It’s key to having an iPhone with no insane premium cloud storage.

So, l’ve had a collection of over 20K photos/videos stores on my iPhone over the past 2 years and to go over each photo individually to delete was a hassle! However, this application has helped me delete all of them in minutes! Definitely worth the price for a supportive team looking to help make our lives easier. Thanks so much! Worth every penny!
