I am so incredibly pleased with Wedbox!! I didn’t want all of my photos shared all over social media with hashtags, so I went looking for an app that could host them! What a treasure this was!! So incredibly easy to navigate, even for the technology challenged! I got pictures and videos from my wedding that I would have never seen. Within a day or two I had 154 photos and 5 videos posted from our guests! While I wait for the professional pictures, I have pictures and a totally different perspective of our wedding and all the fun people had! Thank you Wedbox!!!

While I don’t typically write reviews for apps that have given me problems, I’m MORE than happy to write a negative review for Wedbox. I purchased their $45 “upgraded” download package, which was a complete waste of money and time. All of my wedding guests uploaded their pictures throughout the night of our wedding. The following morning I scrolled through a lot of them without any issues, but I held off on downloading them all as we were going to be having a brunch and I knew that there would be additional pictures to come. While at brunch, multiple people began to complain about how the app wasn’t working for them or allowing them to upload any pictures. After waiting 3 days, I reached out to customer service who then suggested that I have guests go onto their website to upload pictures. What’s the point of the app if you direct them to your website? The best part, in the process, all pictures were deleted from the app somehow. When I asked customer service how they intended on retrieving the missing pictures, they said that they were investigating. It’s been more than a week and I STILL have not heard back. Do NOT download this app or expect it to work properly. Also, once things do go wrong, don’t expect customer service to assist you in any way. To the developer, don’t bother responding to this review, your customer service team WAS contacted and you did nothing. Save your bogus apologies and “investigations” for the next unfortunate person to download your app.

Appeared to easily load photos but then “failed to load” repeatedly. Non-intuitive fixing entries; can’t move uploaded photos into correct categories after initially adding. App crashes each time I tried to add new photos or videos after initial additions & added two pictures to “gallery” not selected to be added. That said, great idea, needs some improvement.

It’s a great idea for brides to see all photos from their wedding without having to share them all on Facebook (because personally, I’d rather choose what’s shared on Facebook that’s not taken by my photographer), BUT the free version doesn’t allow you to upload videos for free! Which means that no one can share any of the short snap videos they took, and brides don’t get to see them. I think that’s kinda cheap, and no one is going to pay for an app just to upload videos for someone else’s wedding. You should make it so 1 minute or less videos are free to upload.
