Can be very worthwhile, also can be frustrating

Where are my apples
This app is a wonderful option for me personally, and I highly suggest it to people that have time on their hands, are willing to commit to taking a bunch of surveys, and could use extra money. I’ve had this app for 3 years and until recently I only occasionally used it, but since starting I have cashed out $300!I can’t give it a full 5 stars because I’ve had my share of issues where I have finished a survey, and instead of rewarding me my payment, it mistakenly sends me to the disqualified screen that rewards a maximum $0.02 kind of consolation prize. I have also messaged support and the response was not personable at all and it didn’t feel like my complaints were fully heard or acknowledged, to the point I left it alone and let it go, although my reasons for emailing were valid. I will say that cashing out is a super easy process and at least with the payment option I always choose, it arrives extremely quickly unless on a weekend! I also noticed in recent months that they decreased the cash out amount from $25 to just $10, and that was an amazing change. The previous amount made it feel very daunting to reach the cash out minimum, which is why I rarely used it, but now its much easier for me to commit to using the app and I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve started cashing out weekly! $10 isn’t a lot to everybody, but it’s great for building up savings or having a extra bit of spending money.

As an avid survey taker with active accounts on more than 3 dozen surveys sites & apps I'm starting to consider myself an expertat rating the quality & integrity of survey companies, that said Zap is one of the better ones, I haven't been using it long enough to say with complete certainty but I believe it is likely one of the very best. There are a lot surveys in varying degrees of length & difficulty, something unique to Zap that I like & find most useful is the surveys are devided into to main groups higher paying more difficult & easier ones that are already pre-screened to be compatible with your profile giving you the choice of diving right into the higher paying surveys with the knowledge that you may start several & screen out after a few questions before you're able to complete one but after you've completed one it doesn't take as long to get another one that's a good fit & with each one you complete the less often you'll screen out, the other catagory will have dozens of surveys in it at any given time that you'll be able to complete one after the other without much chance of screening out. There are always plenty of surveys in either category & there are other ways of collecting points like scanning receipts & in a few select stores you can get paid simply for scanning the barcodes of certain items. You can also earn cashback for shopping at some of your favorite stores and there are other deals exclusive to Zap!

I enjoy this app because there are multiple ways to earn without having download something into your device. The surveys are legitimate in the sense that they’re not the type that lead to more surveys that take forever, require you to buy something, and sell your information to people who will send you spam for the rest of your life. I also like the fact that the app offers ways to earn that don’t take a lot of time. I like the fact that users can earn cash rewards through PayPal—not just gift cards and virtual Visa cards. My only complaints are: it takes too long to cash out because the threshold is too high, and at times, I’ve completed a whole survey only to find that I am unable to submit it at the very end—the submit button doesn’t work. And the only remedy for that is the company whose survey it is (not Zap). And the procedure for getting your money back is unclear. Finally, the instructions for cash back shopping offers are not clear at all. Exclusions are not clearly defined and are sometimes confusing and conflict with other parts of the instructions, so it’s hard to tell if I’m going to get cash back credit. Also, there isn’t any way to change the email address on your account. It may seem like a lot, but believe me when I say that this app is better than many others. And it seems like the the things I dislike about the app could be fixed easily. Hopefully some of these things will be corrected in he next update. In the meantime, even in spite of these little quirks, I do enjoy this app and generally find it easy to use.

STAY AWAY!! 5 stars to get your attention

Thieves and frauds
It makes you reach at least $10 before being able to submit a withdrawal, to which takes lots of time and even money on offers like subscription trials through the zap app with 3rd parties. So after i spent that real money and Countless of hours I was able to reach $14. I thought cool time to collect on the rewards I earned, then it makes you go through a verification process to which I passed after taking pictures of the front and back of my identification card, then a selfie to prove I am who I portray on the card. It processes and says verification complete and I passed in green. Not even 5 seconds after that it turns red says my funds have been denied and returned as well as my account being completely locked out and me blocked from the app. Tells me to contact customer service if I think they made a mistake. Im beyond angry and upset as I lost time and my own real money in the process. So be aware they are a scamming app and fraudulent thieves. I will be contacting an attorney to sue them for multiple reasons. This is unacceptable behavior and I hope everyone reads this to understand that this app should not be given any attention. They will steal your time, money, and rewards earned without explanation and leave you locked from the app. Apple shouldn’t condone these apps either and will be included when I sue zap.
