The relevant To and Cc addresses are included; your own addresses and duplicate entries are filtered out. PRINT EMAILS Print an open email using your device's native print dialog, available in the reading view menu. MORE SWIPE OPTIONS In the email list, tap “More” to assign a color to messages or mark them as read or unread. A full swipe now triggers deletion directly, without having to tap the delete button. UPDATED FOUNDATION AND IOS IMPROVEMENTS The app's foundation has been extensively updated. App startup, the status bar and display at screen edges have been stabilized. Fixes improve downloading and opening attachments and Drive files. Biometric login, sharing, push permissions and app badges have been adapted to current iOS APIs. Navigation, headers, footers, lists and dialogs are now clearer and more consistent. Light and dark mode have both been fully updated for a coherent experience in every setting. MORE EMAIL ACTIONS BY SWIPE The swipe gesture in the email list now gives you more options. Tap “More” to reply, forward, move or flag an email, or mark it as spam directly from the list. You can also delete emails directly from the reading view. SAVE EMAILS AS DRAFTS Need more time to finish an email? Save it as a draft while composing and continue later. Recipients, subject, text and attachments are retained. Saving again updates the existing draft, and the draft is removed only after the email has been sent successfully. Version 3.9.9: New app icon, clearer messages during server maintenance, customisable push notifications. NEW APP ICON eclipso has a fresh, modern app icon. The new design fits more cleanly on the home screen and is easier to recognise on all device sizes. CLEARER MESSAGES DURING MAINTENANCE AND SERVER OUTAGES Until now, a generic error message appeared during login or app use if the server was undergoing planned maintenance or was temporarily unavailable. From version 3.9.9, the app automatically detects whether the server is under scheduled maintenance or temporarily unreachable, and displays a clear explanation with the appropriate message — in your chosen app language. Tap "Try again" to check whether the service is available again. CUSTOMISABLE PUSH NOTIFICATIONS Until now, push notifications for new emails only showed the number of unread messages — discreet, but without context. From version 3.9.9, you can choose in settings: either continue showing only the count (privacy-friendly) or display the sender as the title and the subject as the notification text. The setting can be chosen independently per device — so a personal device can show full content while a work device stays discreet. This update also includes further stability improvements and background optimisations.

Version 3.9.5: eclipso Drive Photo Gallery, biometric login, newsletter unsubscribe, login improvements. PHOTO GALLERY FOR DRIVE eclipso Drive has an entirely new gallery view. Photos and videos are automatically displayed in a clear grid with thumbnail previews. A tap opens the full-screen viewer with pinch-to-zoom, horizontal swiping for navigation and swipe-down-to-close. Videos play directly in the app - supported formats inline, others via the native player. From the gallery you can share files, send them directly as email attachments and delete them. Multi-select allows sharing or deleting multiple files at once. Sorting by date, name or size is also integrated. BIOMETRIC LOGIN Touch ID and Face ID are now supported as a login method. After a one-time setup in settings, a fingerprint or glance is all it takes to unlock the app. Biometric authentication uses only the device's Secure Enclave - your password never leaves the device. ONE-TAP NEWSLETTER UNSUBSCRIBE Many newsletters support RFC 8058 direct unsubscription (List-Unsubscribe header). For these emails, an "Unsubscribe" button appears directly in the reading view - no detour through the browser or manual searching for the unsubscribe link. One tap is all it takes. LOGIN IMPROVEMENTS The login form now automatically scrolls up when the on-screen keyboard appears, keeping the input fields always visible. Passwords can be revealed using the eye icon to the right of the password field.

Version 3.8.2: Plan overview, account info page and storage warning, Text-Mode for E-Mails. PLAN OVERVIEW Which plan is right for me? This question can now be answered directly in the app. The new "Upgrade" section displays all available plans - Connect, Premium and Business - clearly side by side. Storage space, email addresses, protocols, encryption, Drive storage, organiser and other features can be compared at a glance. One tap on "Order" leads directly to the order page. No subscription, no automatically recurring payment - payment in advance for the chosen period. ACCOUNT INFO PAGE The account info page now shows structured information: email address, plan name and customer number at a glance. New: a visual storage bar with separate display of email storage and Drive storage. Overages are highlighted in colour so you can immediately see when you need to upgrade your storage. STORAGE WARNING When your email storage is almost full (from 98 % usage), an automatic notice appears with a direct link to the upgrade page. This way, no incoming emails are silently rejected. The notice appears at most once every 24 hours. TEXT MODE FOR EMAILS In settings, you can now globally choose whether HTML emails are displayed as formatted HTML or as plain text by default. The setting applies to all emails and is saved permanently. The manual toggle in the email reading view is retained and overrides the global setting for the currently open email.
