I.F.O is an old school LCD-style shoot'em up game. You have to shoot UFOs using a classic aircraft and save the animals which kidnapped by the aliens. Let's save the Earth from the aliens! You are the last hero of the world. *Very simple controls - You can rotate aircraft by left & right buttons. and you can dash by pushing both buttons together. That's all. *The mysterious alien power - If you kidnap an alien, your classic airplane gets power up by the mysterious alien power. *Unique weapon & item - You can change weapon while saving the animals kidnapped by the aliens. And you can recover your life at the same time. Depends on the kind of animal, you can earn a heart piece which make your maximum life larger. *iMessage stickers - When you install this application, I.F.O sticker is added to "iMessage". - v1.6 Updated - *Weapon mode - This is a mode where you aim for high scores only with your favorite weapon. 8-bit throwbacks are all the rage these days, and I love 'em, but this LCD mock-up REALLY took me back, to the days of frittering away time on car trips or languishing in shoe departments or in waiting rooms biding the conclusion of some interminable maternal appointment. Of course, those old handhelds were limited to advancing through a finite set of Muybridgean tableaux lurching by at a frame or so per second to create the illusion of animation—which the present title is and does not, though part of me wishes it did. In any case, it's not a complicated game, in keeping with those it recalls, but it's a fun diversion. As I say, I do suddenly wish someone would flat-out emulate the herky-jerky grayscale of those gaudy beplasticked one-trick ponies, but I'm grateful for this little revival, trompe-l'œil shadows and scratchy screen and all.
