This DK Visual Dictionary app is the perfect companion to your visual dictionary. For each language, over 7,000 words and phrases are spoken in both English and the language of the title. All words are from the books and are spoken by native speakers. Simply download the free app, then use your copy of the book to fully access all the audio.
This clear, comprehensive and easy-to-use app contains all the content from each Bilingual Visual Dictionary. Just like the book, the vocabulary is arranged thematically, with subjects including shopping, food and drink, study, work, travel and transport, health and appearance, sport and leisure, technology, and the home. Search for the page you want, tap on any word to listen to it being spoken, scroll up and down the word lists for each topic, and swipe left or right to go to the next or previous page.

Can’t believe this app is designed without the ability to search for a specific word or a topic (like “travel”, “restaurants”, etc.). It’s strictly by page number from the book. This is very limiting because I’m not going to carry the book around. Preferably, I would have liked using this as a quick reference or as a study supplement for specific topics while waiting somewhere.

That’s kinda it. I got this book at my local library and I decided to try out the audio app and it worked great. Something’s I want to say is why do you have to download the audio files yourself and it’s kinda hard to find the word your looking for but other than that I’d say it’s good at least for the Russian copy.

I bought a hard copy book the other day, (Russian English bilingual Visual Dictionary) hoping I can use the free app that they are promoting.To the developer of this app, please fix it because it’s not functioning. I have scanned the barcode of my book and I wanted to download the audio and it’s not working. It just says “audio downloading” and still on 0% not moving an inch.

Chinese Audio Will Not Install

I downloaded the app, could not get Chinese audio to download. I deleted and re-downloaded the app three times and still could not get audio to download. I’m very disappointed I paid good money for a dictionary to use while I travel that I can’t even use. Do not recommend!!!
