New in this update: NEW FEATURES - Your Campfire: A fire now burns beside your hero on the quest board, and it is your streak. Finish one quest on any day and it is fed for that whole day. Come back tomorrow and it grows: coals, then a small flame, then steady, then roaring, then a blaze you could see for miles. Miss a day and it drops to embers. Miss the day after that and it goes cold. - Tap the fire to see how it burns. Every stage sits side by side, so you can see what is coming, alongside your run of days, your best run ever, and every day you have lit it. IMPROVEMENTS - A new app icon. - The app now opens on your hero making camp, fire already lit, and fades into the quest board instead of cutting to it. - Your hero stands on the ground beside the fire now, breathing rather than hovering, and the map in the far corner sits on the same line as the two of them. - A banner now runs along the bottom of the quest board. New in this update: NEW FEATURES - The Road: A map of the whole journey, opened from the quest board. Six lands run from the outskirts to the black forge, with the Baron's keep waiting at the end. Your hero stands wherever your level puts them, and each time you open it they walk the ground you have covered since you last looked, with the road turning gold behind them. - Dispatches: Every stop on the road holds a piece of the Baron's story, and it unlocks when you get there. Sixteen of them between your first quest and the reckoning, and the road has its own music while you read. - Level Up: Leveling now gets its own moment on the quest board. Your character, framed and lit, and the number climbing from the level you walked in with to the one you earned. - History: The character sheet's Statistics page is now History, and it lists every quest you have finished, grouped by the day you finished it, underneath your totals and your week. IMPROVEMENTS - The quest board greets you by your character's name, and finds something different to say through the day. - The tab bar is gone. Inventory and settings sit in the top corners of the quest board, and nothing follows you into a session. - Changing your gear or your alignment now shows on your hero on the quest board straight away. - Ads wait until the level-up and treasure animations have played, and the app's own sound comes back when they finish. - You can change your focus note in the middle of a session, or add one you skipped at the start. - The alignment previously called Average is now called Neutral. - Your hero will speak up now and then if you have been looking at the board for a while. BUG FIXES - Fixed a quest not counting as finished when the timer ran out while the app was in the background and the app closed before you came back. - Fixed the quest list not refreshing to your new level's quests immediately after you leveled up. - Fixed the quest board's music not returning after you closed Inventory or Settings. New in this update: NEW FEATURES - Choose Your Path: The quest board now lists one situation at a time instead of three versions of it. Pick a quest and your hero lays out the ways through it, good, average or evil, each with its own story and its own ending. The board is a third the length, and the choice that shapes your character is now a choice you actually make. - Meet The Baron Of Later: New players get a short animated opening. Someone has been stealing the kingdom's afternoons, the knights who rode out to stop him are still getting ready, and it turns out he can only be outlasted twenty-five minutes at a time. - Set A Focus: When you accept a quest you can write one line about what you are really sitting down to do. It waits above the clock for the whole session, so there is something true to look at when your attention wanders. Leave it blank and nothing changes. - Treasure: Armor no longer belongs to particular quests, so no path pays better than another. Finishing any quest now has a chance to turn up a chest, and it opens on the quest board when you get back. What is inside still follows the same order it always has, matched to your level. - A Quest Of Your Own Making (Premium): A new entry at the top of the board lets you set your own focus and rest lengths, anywhere from 5 to 120 minutes. The reward scales with the time you commit. IMPROVEMENTS - The Wisdom card has been rebuilt around the quote itself: larger text, a quieter heading, both buttons on one line, and the screen behind it properly blurred. - Tap your hero on the quest board and they will have something to say about it. New in this update: NEW FEATURES - Your Hero Walks While You Work: The timer now shows your character crossing a grassy field, wearing whatever armor you have equipped. They only cover ground while the clock is running, so pausing stops them where they stand. - Make Camp On Every Break: Breaks send your hero to a campfire to rest, and every focus session is now followed by one, including the last. Shorter quests used to skip the rest entirely. - A Finish Worth Watching: Completing a quest no longer drops a popup over the screen. Your hero celebrates right there in the field, and the story of how your quest ended is told a line at a time. - Your Hero Hands Out The Quests: Your character now stands in the corner of the quest board. Tap a quest and they tell you about it in a speech bubble, with the board dimmed behind it so it is easy to read. Accept from there and go straight to your timer. IMPROVEMENTS - Mute In One Tap: A speaker button on the timer silences the music and every sound effect for as long as you need, without unpicking the settings you already chose. There is a matching switch in Settings to turn it back off. - Wisdom: The Quote button is now called Wisdom, and the card it opens has been rebuilt to match the rest of the app. - A new fanfare plays when you complete a quest. - Quest difficulty is now a row of marks you can compare at a glance across the whole board. BUG FIXES - Quests that reward armor now show it on the quest board. The marker had been missing entirely. - The Wisdom card no longer opens blank, and offers a fresh quote each time you open it.
