Very impressive! Counted my pills perfectly where other apps couldn’t tell the difference between 15 and 4. Didn’t ask me for any money and let me use the app as a guest and it worked fine. Would love to see a template that counts postage stamps. I’ll try one of the other templates in the meantime. If it lets me count the stamps, I’ll be back to change my four stars to five. (It’s not letting me attach a photo in the request a template message area inside the app. I’m on an iPhone 13.)

Amazing App!

Out of all the counting apps I have tried this one is by far the most accurate and detailed! There’s SO many different templates to choose from, whether you’re counting medication, zigzag rebar, livestock, small organisms in a petri dish!?! Pretty much anything you could possibly imagine is there! It’s so quick and if it isn’t correct (rarely & in my experience only if there’s a very similar shape to the objects being counted also in the photo) there’s a very easy way to correct and guide it for the next count. Literally labels each individual item with it’s own number for legibility and accuracy. LOVE THIS APP. I get enough free counts as a guest to suit my needs which I also appreciate :3 Give this app a try if you haven’t and be wow-ed as well :3
Frustrating for a Professor

I am an accounting professor who teaches auditing, and was planning to use this in my class with a case from Ernst and Young (EY Foundation). This would be amazing software to teach my students. The only issue is there is no educational trial or plan that would allow students to try this in any meaningful way. The case has a picture of over 3,000 sheep in an aerial view from a drone picture for an inventory count. The free trial allows you to count “up to 10 items.” It would be unconscionable to require my students to purchase an $80 software application that they will likely never need again (their firm would have access). So, unfortunately, while the software is likely great, the accessibility is not. It would be more effective to allow the free trial to count any number of things but limit it to 5 (or some number of) separate counts. This is immensely disappointing, as I’m missing out on being able to deliver a great learning opportunity to my students.

Perfect for steel inventory

CountThings has been a life-saver for our company. Millions of pounds of steel of all sizes and shapes stacked in bundles on racks has been hugely expensive and problematic to count manually. With CountThings photo inventory we have a very reliable tool which incidentally saves proof of the count by tagging each item in a photo saved to a network folder. The photos are cross-referenced in the spreadsheet generated by the app. I couldn’t ask for more. The guys in the warehouse continue to offer new ideas on expanding use for picking, moving and shipping using the app.
