Magic Trail is a fun app that allows you to add special trailing effects to your mouse & trackpad pointer. It is the best app of its kind and even works with multiple monitors. Use it to impress your friends and brighten up your day with fun and interesting mouse effects! The app lives in your top menubar and from there you can easily access further options to customize the mouse trail. The app has 12 cool mouse trails: 1. Fire 2. Rainbow 3. Stars 4. Bubbles 5. Snow 6. Mouse 7. Confetti 8. Heart 9. Lightning 10. Pixie Dust 11. Galaxy 12. Leaves The length of each of these trails can be customised via the preferences. We've worked hard to make Magic Trail fun and pleasurable to use. We would love to hear your thoughts via email and make any improvements to future versions of this app. We intend to have an active development cycle powered by your feedback and support!!

it has a few choices to choose from, which is great, but my main problem (not sure if anyone else is having this problem but,) is that sometimes when i use the trail and shut my laptop, there will be marks in the shape of the trail i was last using on the screen... its not the same color as the trail, it matches the screen but it still makes the screen seem damaged. all i have to do to make it go away is turn my screen off then back on again. other than that love it

Just got a 43” 4K monitor, and basically the normal mouse pointer is useless (way too small to be located in all of that pixelly space on its own). So for me this app is more than a fun way to create screen effects - it’s vital. It’s also nice to look at though. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the lack of ability to set sensitivity. Once I find the pointer, and get it to where I need to go accross all of my screen real estate, I’d love for the effect to dial down or go away for fine movements, then ignite again when a large movement happens. Hopefully in a future update (please?)

The affect is great if it would only stay. If I switch between my mouse and my track bad the trail goes away and I have to keep quiting the app and restarting it which is a real pain. Especially since I am a teacher and I use it to keep students attention. It's not beneficial to stop in the middle of a lesson to have to restart the app. There are other times when the effect just goes away and again I have to restart it. The choices are nice and when it works it's really cool

I wanted an app that would make the curser more visible. this app creats a tail with visual effects to make the location of the curser more easily apparent. When it works, I enjoy it. However, there apopears to br a correlation between shutting down the computer and the app being non-functional upon restart. This morning is the second time this has happened. I could not opebn the app from the desktop. I could not open the app from the Finder Application folder. The app was ot expensive, but if it continues to be non-functional then I want my money back.
