Understand posture from the inside out.
The Posture app by Muscle & Motion turns your device into a powerful 3D learning platform that reveals the anatomy, biomechanics, and muscular patterns behind good (and poor) posture. Explore common postural faults, watch muscles activate in 3D, and learn how alignment influences movement, performance, and pain.
Whether you’re a therapist, trainer, movement educator, student, or someone working to improve your own posture, this app helps you see what’s really happening beneath the surface.
Why Physical Therapists, clinicians & movement professionals love it
- Makes complex posture concepts easy to understand through clear 3D animations
- Shows exactly which muscles are overactive, underactive, tight, or lengthened
- Helps explain posture to clients and patients far better than static images
- Reveals the biomechanics behind common faults like rounded shoulders, forward head, swayback, lordosis, kyphosis, and more
- Provides corrective exercises and movement strategies that professionals can use immediately
Key Features
• 3D Postural Analysis Library
Understand why issues like kyphosis, lordosis, or flat back develop. The app uses clear 3D visuals to show how muscular imbalances create each postural pattern, and provides guided exercises that can help you correct and improve them over time.
• Corrective Exercise Library
Access targeted strengthening and mobility exercises for improving alignment.
• Biomechanical Principles Made Simple
See how the brain, muscles, and joints coordinate to maintain posture. Learn about load distribution, joint alignment, center of gravity, and functional stability, all visualized in 3D.

Love this app! The information on this app is better than some I get from teachers! Not that the teachers aren’t informative it’s just that each video was well thought out and performed with education in mind, which is something you can’t always perfect in-person. Only thing I would say is - it might just be on my end but it is laggy. I enjoy the fact that I can view what I will get before purchase! That is a big deal for me since I am still studying and do not have clients yet. Thank you!

I have used MM off and on for years. Truthfully, I should use it more because, to really work out correctly, avoiding injuries, one must have dependable information to uphold the basic tenet of the 3-legged stool (frequency, duration, intensity). If that gets out of balance, injuries happen. This is key to success. I’m a former 350 lb person who was so out of touch with the body, it was sad. I completely changed my relationship with food and exercise and got in shape. I’ve been trim and fit for nearly 25 years and besides personal commitment and drive, the next most important element was anatomy. I’m no genius. I have no medical background. But I stuck with the learning curve and followed anatomical discussions about working out. I had to. By the time I found my way out of that big body, I was in my early 50’s. I had to be careful with a body going through such a significant transition. And I was heading into aging territory. The more I learned about how things worked, the more I was able to make wise decisions. Finding MM was golden. To be able to visualize exactly what is going on when you work your various parts is something I never dreamt I’d see. I’m heading into some serious aging now and have age related scoliosis and a bone on bone knee that I’m currently debating choosing surgery. My x-rays, according to 3 different doctors, suggest I “should” be in a wheelchair or at least a walker. A head scratcher because I have very little pain. I don’t even limp. I’m a bit crooked at the shoulders. Because of this, I’m going to be using MM more to make movement decisions. I’ve been to PT several times, but I’m not going back to the ones my healthcare provider approves. If I need more PT it will be something I will pay for so I can get out of the insurance trap. Meaning, they do not support the inter connectivity of one’s parts. For my knee problem, they stay focussed on the knee joint and very little else. So I will continue to use MM to create better solutions. NOTE: Do not stop seeing doctors or other qualified providers. I’m speaking from lots of years of experience and choices, and I use doctor results to get a full picture. This thinking is not about eliminating doctors. It’s about framing what kind of help one is getting, and reality checking expectations within frameworks like insurance or a system’s philosophies l. MM is the only product of any kind I know of that can provide what we need for full health. I’m a 77 year old female.
