I have been an Implantbase user since 2013. I have seen the evolution of where Implantbase was and where Implantbase is today. This ap has changed how we currently do business as a spine company, allowing us to have remote workers manage inventory and sets that have experience that you can’t teach. Implantbase has also put the importance of the sales sheet being correct back in the hands of the reps that are in the cases. As the VP of sales I can run reports, look at trends, and make decisions on things that are importance to us on the company side. I am a former distributor and this ap allowed us to go from 3 folks in our office down to 1, which saved us a ton on payroll. The best part is that the reps are responsible for their own business and can look at their own numbers and have a personal investment in the business. Implantbase is solid!

I have nothing nice to say about this app. Everyone on my team hates this app. The world was a brighter place before I was forced to use this app. I feel like I’ve wasted days of my life sitting on “Processing 🔄”. It’s an absolutely brutal user experience. It takes what used to be a 1 minute process and makes it 10 minutes. On a 5 case day, that’s 50 minutes wasted.

Guided Lookup on Assigned Implants
Available for eligible users and entitled manufacturers.
Guided Lookup provides a guided way to find and assign implants directly from Assigned Implants. Users can step through manufacturer-guided options, select one or more parts, and add them directly to the case.
Key benefits:
Quickly find and select the appropriate parts using a guided workflow.
Add one or multiple selected parts directly to the case.
Automatically return to Assigned Implants after a successful add, with the newly added parts displayed.
Continue using the existing Associate All flow for construct association.
Additional note: Guided Lookup requires an online connection and is hidden when the device is offline.
Enabling Technology Workflow
Sales Order Info and Required Fields now include a required Was Enabling Technology Used? Yes/No question.
When Yes is selected, the app opens the Enabling Technology guided flow so the appropriate service code can be selected and added to the case.
Key benefits:
Guides users through required Enabling Technology information before generating a sales order.
Helps ensure the appropriate service code is added when Enabling Technology is used.
Prevents sales order generation until required information is completed.
Uses the existing Cannot Generate Sales Order guidance for incomplete cases.
Selecting No does not open the guided flow.
If a user exits the Enabling Technology flow without successfully adding a service code, the Yes answer is cleared and must be completed again.
Improvements
Hospital Pricing Search
The My Business hospital pricing experience now provides clearer guidance when pricing results cannot yet be displayed.
Updates include:
The empty state prompts users to filter by manufacturer when results cannot be shown yet.
When only one manufacturer is available, it is automatically selected.
Pricing can load without requiring an unnecessary additional selection when only one manufacturer is available.
Sign-In Security
Multi-factor authentication has been strengthened to better protect account access during sign-in.
Updates include:
MFA must be successfully completed before the app receives full account access.
Account access is more securely protected when MFA is enabled.
Restock Selection on Replenishment
Restock selection behavior has been corrected for sales orders and related replenishment orders.
Updates include:
Parts with Restock left unchecked no longer appear on the related replenishment order.
Parts where Restock is deselected are also excluded from replenishment.
Case List Title Display
Case information is once again displayed consistently across the Cases home page filter lists, including Today’s Cases, Need PO, Incomplete, and PO Ready.
Updates include:
Case cards display Procedure – Surgeon on the top line.
Hospital, date/time, and manufacturer information appear below the case title.
Users can more easily identify the procedure and surgeon while reviewing case lists.
